Avoid at all cost!

Nothing, really. To sum up, we had to leave earlier and get ourselves a proper accommodations, as we didn't feel it was healthy to stay there.

The room had a strong smell of sewer pipes. It was not possible to adequately ventilate the room. The room is located by the elevator shaft. The elevator in the building is extremely old and gives very loud noises (I would describe them as hellish). The beds had no blankets, just mere sheets. In autumn that was not enough, as there was rain and the weather was cold. And lastly the shower was dirty and moldy (See picture). Please, travellers, avoid that place at all costs!

Very close to Estacion Nord. The area was full of restaurants and bars. The area felt safe. Easy to find. The instructions the host gave me were very clear.

The building's entrance was in poor condition, and the elevator was outdated and felt unsafe. Thankfully, the apartment was on the second floor. Upon entering, there was a noticeable humid smell mixed with air freshener—not a very pleasant combination. When I opened the electric kettle, I found the lid greasy. The shower, sofa, and window frames all needed a thorough cleaning. While the apartment was generally clean, these details left room for improvement. Since we were only staying for one night, it was manageable.

Cheap, but could be more cared about

Nice location, clean

There was not any toilet paper available, the light in our room was not working, there were no towels (for cleaning your hands) in the bathroom despite one bathroom being shared by six different persons. Also we could not find a towel for drying dishes.

No, just no

Reasonably speaking this option has its pros. First of all, location is very central (20 min walk from main train station and 10 min by bus) and has nice neighbourhood. Second, our price for one night was around 50 euros, which is amazing for such location. Last, it has kitchen where you can heat food from supermarket and have reasonable dinner.

Yet, there are too many cons. As kitchen is a plus, the same and even worse it is the minus. During the day it was fine. But the moment it got darker, different insects and bugs started to concur it. They were everywhere. Cockroaches… Gross!!! Then there was a leakage under washbasin in there, which seemed to be old. Thus, in the end we went to wash dishes in bathroom. Moreover it was all dirty. Surfaces, cutlery, cups, all needed double check. Honestly, the whole place was dirty. Floors were not cleaned even in our room when we got in. Washed towels and beddings were drying here and there. The whole apartment just looks old and not taken care off, which tells about it. At least we got fresh towels and fresh bed. Still the bed sheet was dirty in some places from being very old. Next what makes us never want to come back is that there is no air conditioning. We came during summer and without air conditioning even with open windows and fan, it was a nightmare sleep. Constant heat of Spain got us there. But what made it even worse at night is noise. The walls of the building are thin, you can hear neighbours like they stand near you. Plus, we had room with windows to road (double bed one), which makes it the worse of all. At night several trash machines came to retrieve garbage just under windows, people were screaming and talking loud, cars driving insane late at night. So, very noisy in that room and very hot. Maybe in other two it would be better in this case, but who knows. Next, toilet has no lock. And living with people you don’t know, makes it very uncomfortable to do your business in peace. We made turns going in there and standing outside to make sure nobody comes in accidentally. The toilet seat itself was okay and seemed clean, nevertheless we were unlucky to have dirty roommates, but sink and floor were dirty. Shower is old and has rust. In the end, the landlady was writing to us in Spanish, when we don’t understand a thing in it, which was just strange.

Very nice place and location but lacks cleanliness

The location was very good, the spacious living room and kitchen!

The bathroom was very dirty, especially on the floor and the rug seemed to have never been washed before. On the last day we saw three cockroaches in our bedroom. Overall wouldn’t recommend walking around barefoot. Use slippers, it’s not clean.

Nice appartement,close to the Park and science city. Perfect if you like to go on a run. Beach is a 20 min nice walk away .

Rooms cannot be locked. If security cams are installed inside the appartment for safety or customer control reasons remains unknown. Communication happens by customer request only. Overall bad value for money.

Great host and awesome dog

Alex (and his beautiful and amazing dog Margarita) were great hosts. Alex was very clear about how everything worked and helped us out in manybways giving us tips and letting us keep our luggage a bit longer after check out. The value for money is probably unbeatable for a nice room with a balcony to the street. We were allowed us to use the microwave and his plates, and across the road was a delicious takeaway paella place :d

Keep in mind that this is the dog Margarita's home as well so there will be dog fur in unexpected places, even though Margarita doesn't enter the room. This was not a big problem for us but could be if you are allergic. Most importantly the room didn't have a lock, which could be a problem because there was another room with guests at the same time so i hope a lock is added for next visits.

No breakfast option but bed is comfy. The welcome from the host was great. Good location. Clean but still have dogs hair everywhere. Toilet is clean.

The owner didnt tell that he has a pet dog on the site. Those who are allergic to dog. Think twice. We are fine. I was told dog doesnt go into the room, but dogs hair is everywhere. No bag drop service, as this is a home as the owner says he has to work in the morning till 2pm, but managed to receive by 1pm. Room Doors has no lock.. i wake up couple times a night. I was told i was not allowed to cook. I thought booking a home could allow me to do a little cooking like noodles, but hes strict. Should have stated ' absolute room only. No lock. No cooking. No kettle. Dog is in the house.' By sharp 11am. Owner knock at the door to chase the check out time.. i was about to move, but Usually, can wait at least 5 to 10 mins to pack up? Didnt feel pleasant at all. Will not book similar next time.
