We booked this resort just a few days before our travel dates and were pleasantly surprised to find a deal for a Preferred room at a better rate than booking a regular room directly. The location was fantastic, but you’ll need to arrange a hired car for airport transfers. You can book that through Agoda, and it was a smooth process.
The resort, which was previously Hilton, has recently been rebranded as Hyatt, as is the adjoining resort. We had a wonderful time at the resort, but we did have a minor issue with the food quality. Nothing was bad, but it wasn’t exceptional either. Since it was our first time at an AI, we’re not sure if under-seasoning is typical or not. Also, the drinks were a bit watered down. However, that was easily fixed by asking for a top-up.
Overall, the Preferred level was really great and we were glad to have enjoyed the extra perks.
