Our host was incredibly professional, warm and welcoming. I have NEVER stayed anywhere so spotlessly clean - it really was 5 star standard absolutely everywhere in the property. The hotel is cosy and has the most breathtaking views from the room we stayed in. We will definitely return!
The property was perfect!

Westcliff
Cosiest Hotel ever with a private garden right next to the sea where you can enjoy your dinner watching the sun go down.
Also make sure you book a room with seaview, it’s definitely worth it. I could literally see the sea from my bed…! So cool!
The Hotel itself is like oldscool plush and vitage, but everything looks brand new and like renovated just recently (My bathroom definitely WAS brand new. And big plus for continental visitors: no carpet in the bathroom, if you know what I mean)
On top of all that the great host Loreta makes sure you‘ll have everything you need and feel welcome and comfortable at all times.
Location is perfect, 5 min to the beach, 10min down town, half an hour drive to the Lake District.
A definite recommendation!

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Loreta was kind and friendly at check in. Room spotless with a great view. Private garden overlooking the beach brilliant. Bathroom clean and had all I needed. Perfect location. Great value for money.
Bed a tiny bit firm for my tastes - but I do generally like a softer bed!

Incredibly quiet. I really really liked the location. The rooms were spacious. I never heard any of the other guests. The house has plenty of character. But for me how calm and quiet it was was the best quality
There was nothing I didn’t like

Loreta was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable. Everything was clean, and had a vintage style to the room. There were a variety of books to recommend what to do around seascale and Cumbria, which I thought was very helpful. A dining room which had a mini fridge, cutlery, coffee, cereal, milk etc.
Not the property, but the village itself seascale is remote to it is a bit difficult to move around without car, as the trains are often delayed or even cancelled.

I had a fantastic stay at The Westcliff. The room was exactly as described — spotlessly clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The highlight was, without a doubt, the breathtaking sea view, which I enjoyed every morning and evening.
The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach, local shops, and restaurants. The atmosphere was peaceful, making it the ideal place to relax and unwind.
Loreta, the host, was welcoming, friendly, and always quick to respond, making check-in and communication smooth from start to finish.
I would highly recommend The Westcliff to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing seaside escape, and I’m already looking forward to returning.

The location was fantastic overlooking the sea.
The property was spotless, the bedroom was spacious with a very comfy bed and clean bathroom.
The only option for breakfast was cereal. There is a cafe down the road that opens at ten.
The only place serving evening meals is the fab chippy 'salt', but it gets incredibly busy. All other establishments require driving out of the village. Its not a bad thing but just thought it was worth mentioning.

It was simple, comfortable, and clean. Loreta was lovely and communicated in advance about what to expect in the town and in the hotel. The hotel itself was nicely decorated and the room had a lovely view over the sea. I loved sitting in the garden on the clifftop.
Everything was great.

Loreta was welcoming and warm ,she left you alone unless you needed anything especially a Cork screw .The room was clean and well maintained with a good view.
It was a pleasure to stay and I would have no issues recommending the property to someone

The property is on the seafront and although I was allocated a courtyard view room, I actually got a sea view, well worth it, thank you. Seascale is very quiet and was just what I was looking for, I had an amazingly relaxing holiday, just what the doctor ordered as my Mum would say, and great value for money for the basics needed.
I kept burning myself on the towel radiator as I kept forgetting how hot it was. A sign is needed to remind people of this especially if they are as forgetful as myself. Although it was room only and we did get a kettle and hairdryer, it would have been nice just to have some sachets of coffee/tea, sugar for that first morning brew, luckily I had remembered to take some fruit tea, it's little extras like this that I think would just improve the stay slightly but I managed and still had a great week.

The Host on arrival greeted me warmth and Kindness, When entering my room, I was deeply moved by the view from the window`s to the sea, seeing the wave`s, from different angles from various windows in my room, the room was bright clean and everything for my needs,
nothing could of been better.

Its a nice place to relax from everything, quiet area has a sea very close by, you can go sit and watch or go for a long walk by the sea, and if going for hiking there are many places to go from 30min to 1h drive and your there. As for me mostly i was looking for a place to have shover and bed because i am mostly outside and just coming back to get shower and sleep through the night, it was exeeding everything managed to get more relaxing experience than normally i do, i would recommend to anyone, It is a wonderful place to relax.
Just a minor thing but tv could have been a smart tv.

Loved that the hotel was so close to the beach and the fact that the room also had a good sea view. Went on a steam railway trip the next day at Ravenglass and Eskdale, which was under 15 minutes car drive so that was good too
Nothing to not like.

Absolutely beautiful! It was so peaceful and quiet here. The host was really lovely, so kind and welcoming. There if you needed her, but otherwise I could just enjoy the peace of the hotel and location. I even got upgraded to a sea view room, which was beautiful! I could hear the sea at night if I slept with the window open - so calming.
There is a lovely private garden straight across the road that looks out directly over the beach, with tables and chairs and sun loungers. A minute or 2 in either direction is a path down to the beach, on which it's possible to walk for miles. Happily, this also wasn't at all crowded.
Despite there being no dining facilities, we were welcomed to use the front room to eat, with a small mini fridge and microwave, as well as crockery and cutlery provided. As stated in the description, the town is very small, but there's a train station for local connections, co-op supermarket and several takeaways, all of which could do me a vegan option when I asked :)
Thank you for a perfect stay!

Fantastic location and lovely sea view. Hotel was lovely and clean. We were able to use the garden which was across the road directly overlooking the sea. Had chairs, table and sun loungers. Could use the dining room to consume our own food/take away.

This was the quietest stay I have ever had in a hotel. The location was stunning, and the view from our lovely room was out over the sea. We were very lucky with calm weather, but the whole atmosphere was just calm, peaceful, and comforting. The host was lovely and very accommodating to our late arrival! We are likely to come back to the area as we are buying a house here, so we will definitely stay again when we come back up! :)
Having to leave! :(

Comfortable bed, lovely views over the sea, lovely shower room with super fluffy towels.
Only slight downside was the breakfast. What was offered was very nice but, apart from toast, there was no cooked breakfast. However, there was plenty of cereals, fruit, pancakes etc.
