Welcome to Papakea! Located on the ocean between the Kaanapali and Kapalua world-class golf resorts and minutes from shops, restaurants, and galleries. Papakea is a 13 acre oceanfront resort with the true aloha feeling of Maui.
Our unit is H403, a fourth floor 3 bedroom, 3 full bathroom condo and is ready for our guests! For a memorable Maui experience in a top class condo it has granite counters, nice cabinetry, three TV's, teak furniture, the works! We are continually making little changes to keep it fresh and updated.
Our fourth floor penthouse condo has a cathedral ceiling in the main living area and bedrooms with beautiful views of the gardens, pool, and ocean from the private lanai. The unit has a split zone air conditioning system (replaced with new units 6/19) and also has ceiling fans in bedrooms and loft. We offer an LCD panel desk-top computer with free wireless Internet access and wi-fi printer. Sip a cocktail on the lanai and enjoy the beautiful views of the gardens, ocean and sunsets. Parking is close to the building, and both elevator and stairs are located close-by.
The living area has ample seating, as well as a 70" Smart TV, with cable, DVD player, bluetooth iHome clock/speaker and a stereo with CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, eating and cooking utensils, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and other small appliances. The unit also has its own washer and dryer.
As renters ourselves for years, we have tried to think of everything possible from our experiences to make your stay comfortable. The Master Bedroom has a Tempurpedic king-size bed, a 58" Smart TV and plenty of dresser and closet space. The bathroom has a shower/tub, and separate vanity area.
The second bedroom also has a king-sized bed, 55" Smart TV and plenty of closet space. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and separate vanity area.
The loft area has two queen-sized beds with dressers and closets enough for everyone. The bathroom with river rock flooring walk-in shower has its entry on the loft landing for easy access. There is a double-sized pull-out sofa in the living room for extra guests.
All linens including beach towels are provided. You'll also find boogie boards, pool, and beach equipment. The kitchen is stocked with basic spices, so you don't have to start from scratch. Toilet paper, paper towels, detergent etc. are part of our standard stock.
There are two private pools, two Jacuzzis, direct beachfront access, cabana, three lighted tennis courts, two shuffleboard courts, two 18-hole putting greens, Koi ponds, lush gardens, and 12 outdoor barbecues. The resort also has an Activity Desk. For the sports enthusiast, the golf courses of Kapalua and Kaanapali are nearby, as well as great snorkeling and boogie-boarding. Or take your time walking the miles of soft sand beaches.
NOTE: THE RESORT CHARGES $25 PER DAY FOR THEIR FACILITIES USE FEE through June 30, 2025. No resort fee beginning July 1, 2025!
PARKING IS FREE FOR THE FIRST CAR, $5 PER DAY EACH ADDITIONAL. (Both are payable to the resort once checked in.)

We were able to communicate with the owner directly who was very responsive. The location was perfect. It was a pick up spot for my son’s tour van of the Haleakala Crater. We were in walking distance of wonderful restaurants and bakeries. When the tsunami warning hit the staff directed us to the Kapalua Airport and we were one of the first to reach the airport. It is a spacious unit with tons of amenities and a great shower and bed.

Great 2B/2Ba stay - it has an amazing balcony view of the ocean, and full amenities available. Christine had the whole process very smoothly laid out, and the house was completely ready when we arrived. All in all, a great experience and we would definitely stay again the next time we are here.

Penthouse H403 was perfect for us. The loft worked great for 2 teenage boys. There was enough room up there for two more. All the beds were very comfortable. The 3 split level air, it took us awhile for the three units to cool down the place. But after that first day they held the temperature. Everything you need Kitchen was great! Down the road is a small store where we bought some needs. Paper goods, some coffee and breakfast groceries. Perfect! Papakea Resort was so friendly. The pool area with grills and a pavilion was used everyday for our 13 family members staying at the resort. Yes, no beach! It did not stop some of our family to snorkel the area. (Be a strong swimmer) There were beaches near by. Thank you for sharing your place with us.As some may know, you can encounter small birds sneaking in the condo through open screens. Hahaha! Thank you for the closet full of beach goodies, chairs, umbrella, toys, snorkel gear and cooler. Some things didn’t work but most just needed a good cleaning and was usable. Mahalo, Aloha until next time.
