We stayed with our two children (13, 10) during renovation of our own house. Hillary's place was spacious and welcoming with many small touches (swings in the backyard, stocked kitchen, updated bathroom) and communication was very easy. The location is great - quiet street but close to main shopping streets and commute paths. Would strongly recommend for long-term stays!

Hillary was a very gracious host and always very response. The house is charming, clean, and cozy. Our family of 4 (including 2 kids) stayed for 7 weeks while our home was undergoing repairs. The kids enjoyed the backyard (especially the swings). The kitchen is very well equipped, even for preparing Thanksgiving dinner)! The beds are very comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely including great bakery, Whole Foods, coffee shops, and restaurants within walking distance. We had reliable internet the entire stay.
We cannot recommend this home enough. What a gem! Thank you, Hillary and Brian!

We stayed here for 3 months while on a work sabbatical. I cannot say enough good things about it! Brilliant location near to some great local stores and cafes and just off the greenway to get in to downtown Berkeley or the BART stops. The house was clean and had plenty of provisions to make it comfortable. The rooms are bigger than they look in these pictures - even with 3 kids we had plenty of room. The owners were amazing - just the right amount of contact from them and quick to help out when we needed anything. We'd quite happily have stayed there much longer if we could have!
