Completely renovated & tastefully decorated top floor waterfront condo with boat slip (slip #11) overlooking Smith Mountain Lake in Stripers Landing Community in Moneta, Virginia. Amenities include Junior Olympic Pool, Kitty Pool, Boat Launch, Slip & Gated Boat Storage, Covered Picnic Area with grills, Free Wifi thru HOA, Basketball, Tennis Courts & laundry facility (extra charge to use laundry). Convenient to Westlake and Halesford Bridge shopping/dining plus less than a 5 minute drive for quick groceries , gas & Smith Mountain Lake State Park (beaches). This unit offers a Queen Size Bed (sleeps 2) and pull-out sofa (sleeps 2), ONLY 2 Adults allowed per county regulations, kitchen (no oven/cooktop but has microwave, air fryer & hot plate plus grills outside), new wall mounted Smart TV, dining table with 4 chairs plus your own private patio to enjoy the lake view. Unit was renovated in October 2017 with a new tile shower, flooring, paint, countertops, toilet, etc. New Heat Pump (Heating & A/C installed in August 2018). New blinds installed April 2021! This is a studio style condo, open floor plan (392 sq ft) . Top Floor condo, no elevator so there will be steps. Pool is closed for the season.

The lake view was amazing. The Roku TV was terrible. Unless you subscribe to a streaming service, which we do not, you cannot get a decent live TV. We wanted to watch a football game on ABC and couldn’t so we checked out early. While the host tried to help she didn’t. And when we told her we left early we received no response. I was not looking for a refund. I was letting her know she could get in to clean the room

The small balcony with the view was very enjoyable. A great place to relax. The community pool was very well maintained and clean. The condo is much smaller than the photos depicted. It was barely big enough for 2 people. The bedroom had only a bed with no nightstands since it was small. The bathroom had no countertop space. The cabinets were dated, dirty with fingerprints and the drawers either wouldn't open or were falling apart. The freezers needed defrosted with lots of built-up ice. The bathroom sink countertop still had toothpaste on it from the last occupants. The condo must allow pets, since there was a pet odor. The couch was not clean and had to be covered with a sheet. Would I return to this condo? No. Would I return to this complex of condos? Yes. I give this a 3-star rating because of the location, view and community pool.
