This is one of the largest and most desirable units within the highly sought after Trappeur's Crossing Resort, a development that provides a plethora of amenities and services, in a fantastic location at the base of the Steamboat Ski Area.
This unit in Emerald Lodge has high end finishes, furnishings, and décor throughout. The kitchen and bathrooms feature granite, marble, travertine and slate finishes for a consistently high quality. The kitchen is fully equipped and then some, including a gas range and stainless steel appliances. HDTVs are found in every bedroom, and there is a smartphone compatible stereo system. This end unit condo has no one above it, and faces 3 directions, which provides you with nice views of the ski slopes and Emerald mountain too. With 2 Kings and 2 Queens, 4 of the 5 bedrooms are ideal for couples. but will also work well for single adults or kids. The 5th bedroom has 4 Twins bunked, and is ideal for up to 4 kids or single adults. With this many bedrooms and beds, you probably won't need the sleeper sofa in the living room, but it's there for you. The living room has vaulted ceilings, comfy seating, a warm gas fireplace and large HDTV. It is open to the Kitchen and dining room, so even large groups can come together here. There is also a large covered deck with nice views, which is particularly nice for guests who visit in the warmer months of spring, summer, or fall.
The location of Emerald Lodge is great! You'll be within easy walking distance of the Gondola, Ticket Office, Ski School, restaurants, bars, shops, and even groceries. Right out back is the Bear Creek Trail, a paved path leading directly to Gondola Square, which is only about 350 yards away! This walk is quiet and pleasant, with very little up or down. Summer guests will love how this trail connects you directly to the hiking and biking trails of the Routt National Forest as well as the Yampa River. Even in winter season, it is an easy walk to the activity of Gondola Square, particularly if you've stored your skis at the Gondola. Ask us about discounted rentals with free storage! If you don't want to walk to the slopes, you don't have to! The free private shuttle service available during ski season will whisk you to and from the slopes, as well as anywhere else in town! Ski season guests will have no need for a car when they here. If you do have a car, though, you'll benefit from having a reserved underground parking spot as well as covered and uncovered outdoor overflow parking. Please note, trailers are not easy to accommodate here or most places. So, please chat with us before booking if you have a trailer.
This development is one of very few places in Steamboat Springs where there are pools and hot tubs available year round, but that is just one example of the luxurious feel of this property. Air Conditioning is another, and again, something that is not commonly found here in Steamboat Springs. You may not want to leave this resort location! There are 4 pools & 10 hot tubs to choose from, including both indoor and outdoor facilities. Other on-site amenities include tennis/pickleball courts, a sauna, fitness center, guest lounge with coffee and tea bar, an outdoor fire pit, grilling & dining areas, the list goes on! The clubhouse has locker rooms, newspapers, and of course the 24 hour front desk. This property was incredible! Tons of space, perfect location (walkable to mountain, short drive to downtown), lots of amenities. Host was super responsive to questions and gave detailed instructions for smooth check-in and checkout. We would absolutely recommend this property and look forward to staying here again!

Loved having 5 rooms (each with their own bath). The well stocked kitchen was great and we appreciated that there were toiletries and paper products and trash bags provided. Great location, fun pool, loved it!

Key fob system does not work. I was told key for my guests were in the unit. When I explained they were not, I was accused of not looking and given 2 locations to look again. The implication was that I was lying. The then told me was they could not do anything until Monday and to use the master key retrieved from he lock box. It was fixed on Sun. When we complained that the door nit was hot, we were told to open windows because the HOA controlled the temp for us he entire building and that the unit thermostats did not. The next day, workers showed up to repair the AC. In short, the property manager cannot be trusted. Instructions were very long and complicated.
