Great place to stay if you do not want to pay the Expo Center Hotel rates. They have a free shuttle!

Clean and friendly hotel. Breakfast was very good as usual. Shuttle to the expo was awesome! Second stay here and we will continue to use this hotel. Pizza place next door is our go to also.

I like the hotel but I wish they had a hot tub by the pool.

I'll be back!

To start, the staff! Chris and Donny and Anna provided excellent customer service - both friendly and helpful. Chris ensured I had the best option for my needs. The room was clean and comfortable! There was no musty smokey old carpet smell in the room or hallway. The breakfast had really good choices, and the staff ensured nothing ran out. Housecleaning was helpful and ensured the room was refreshed and clean. I was pleasantly surprised with my stay.

The small design of the bathroom was surprising, but thank goodness I was able to fit in.

There was no breakfast. They had a grab bag with cold pastries. .. it was advertised that they had breakfast.. I would have booked a different hotel if I had known they didn't have hot breakfast.

Location and indoor pool.

There was a 4 hour delay getting checked in. Once checked in I was given another room. Instead of accommodating me quickly like the lady did two men who came with issues after me, I had to wait an additional 45 minutes which is crazy and I had my kids with me.

Arrived at 5p and there were at least 50 people ahead of us waiting for rooms to be released for check in. We were headed to an evening event and did not have timeframes to wait the hours that others had already been waiting so we left and planned to return after our event. Although we had been promised a room on a lower floor, we were booked on floor 6 but thankfully they were able to move us to the 3rd floor. Room shows a lot of wear and tear and could have been cleaner. We were told the delay was due to a lack of housekeeping staff and that will certainly need to be addressed plus a management team with an eye for pulling this property back up to the corporate standard.

Overall was good

The breakfast was the best I have ever had offered at a hotel for free. There was make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy for the hot food. Then we had a choice of cereal, oatmeal, muffins, bagels and the list goes on. The staff was all very helpful, kind and accommodating.

The hotel allows dogs. When we checked in, there were at least 2 dogs next door that barked constantly. After complaining at the front desk, we were moved and upgraded. Personally, I do not believe animals should be allowed at hotels. Especially barking dogs and they should not be allowed to be in the room alone.

The location

The pool was not heated. I called the front desk around 12pm to get my bed changed because my grandson got sick in the bed. I called a total of 3 times and texted the help number once and no one ever came to change the bed. We went out and came back still the bed was not changed. The front desk said no one was available so I had to make my own bed up at around 7pm that night.

Bedbug Creepy

Once we found bed bugs, the staff was quick to arrive to our room and verify, then give us our options. They were the only bright spot in what became a horrible experience and costly choice of hotel.

My wife found multiple bed bugs in her bed when we tried to go to sleep. The hotel policy said we could leave with a refund or stay in that same room with the bedbugs. We chose to leave and had hoped to get some kind of credit or compensation for the clothes and suitcase we ultimately had to throw away. Instead we got a refund on the room. We were so creeper out from the experience we ended up driving the rest of the 600 miles over night just so we didn't have to sleep in another hotel.

I will not recommend anyone to stay at your hotel even though my niece recommended you.

We checked in July 3 @2:30pm and checked out @ 1:00 am July 4th due to the fire alarm kept going off and my husband and I was on the 4th floor . My husband have health issues due to cancer we had to take the stairs 3 times because the fire alarm went off 3 times and it was to much for him to endure the pain to keep going up and down the stairs. Due to the fire that alarm kept going off in your Hotel I have requested my refund back because we didn't stay on the 4th thru the 8th as we wanted to due to the inconvenience that your hotel and staff put us through and I am still waiting on our refund in the amount of 298.24

I was discriminated against both me & my guest We tried to enter the laundry room with our keys several times The front desk agent exchanged keys several times Only to get frustrated at our attempts to wash clothes He then turned around and said the battery didn’t work We then sat in the lobby for a hour awaiting it to work Only to see him ignore us as a white woman went and had no problem with her key He never acknowledged us Mind yo he was the same front desk who see is go in prior To check out the payment if the washers & dryers He overheard us say that We’ll be right back After we go to purchase laundry detergent As the laundry room was opened I feel he deliberately locked us out For he seen us sitting in the lobby awaiting entry Only to see him allow her to go in and wash instead Racism at it’s finest Yet never again

The breakfast was very good. Could have used a little more variety. Had pretty much same things both mornings we were there Have you ever thought about getting a pancake maker along with the waffle maker? The breakfast area had plenty of room for guests and was kept neat and tidy, Our room was nice but the bathroom was very small. Both of us could hardly be in there comfortably at the same time. Maybe a pocket door would work better instead of the traditional door.

I already mentioned the bathroom and made suggestions about the breakfast in the above. Other than that nothing else comes to mind.

Not family vacation worthy..

For a queen suite, the room was very small. The queen beds were very uncomfortable, and an air mattress would have been more comfortable. The toilet pressure was horrible, and every time you flushed, it looked like it was going to overflow. After about 3mins in the shower, you were standing in water. Obviously, there's a drainage issue. The pool was never cleaned during our 3 night stay and definitely needed to be cleaned. Breakfast was decent.
