The Yankee Peddler Inn is within walking or free bus distance (Belleview Trolley #67) of any destination I visited in Newport: the Belleview mansions, the Cliff Walk, Wharf and Thames St. restaurants, historic sites and Narraganset sailing. (I took only two short Uber rides at night.) My comfortable room was pleasantly decorated in period style, with paintings and a fireplace, and from its windows there were charming views of other vintage homes on the street. I felt I'd gone back in time. Breakfast was a plus. The owners were kind, warm and friendly. They took the time to help when needed, and by sharing their expertise about Newport and its lore, they enriched my visit immeasurably. (Many thanks.) I highly recommend The Yankee Peddler.
Nothing. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

Very helpful staff and allowed us to keep our car in the lot on our check-out day to shop in Newport. Great cookies.
Parking was tight.

Friendly staff at the desk and helped celebrate our engagement. Good location.
Inadequate parking and notification about minimum spaces and staff needing keys to move vehicles is not something I would trust if I had known ahead of time. Cleaning staff was pushy and rude on two occasions and breakfast options were very limited. Room is very old and dated and didn’t meet expectations pictures on booking showed. Inn is showing its age.
