This lovely Holmes Beach condominium features 2 living floors and 3 verandas, above an enclosed over-sized garage. On the first floor there is a large living/dining area with outdoor veranda. Plenty of windows keep the unit bright and airy, not to mention offering amazing views.
Surrounded by nature, you will want to pack your binoculars!
Also on the same floor is a twin room with 2 single beds. This bedroom has its own veranda overlooking the nature reserve and swimming pool.
Upstairs is the beautiful master suite. It is a large room with a screen door that you can open to enjoy the inter coastal breezes and the birds! Ensuite bathroom and large 'walk - in' wardrobe. 40" flat screen TV. Bright linen, pillows and bedcovers on the bed. Along the landing is the washing machine and dryer. Also upstairs is the full size bedroom, including another veranda overlooking the nature reserve and swimming pool.
The heated swimming pool is a secure (passcode locked) pool for residents and guests only. There are tables and chairs and a changing room by the poolside. In the secure garage there are beach toys and useful equipment for your days on the beach - including a beach trolley and cooler on wheels.
Within minutes you are on the sugar sand beaches that stretch for miles along the Gulf of Mexico.! You can also easily walk to stores and restaurants. For added convenience, right in front of the complex you can board the free trolley and explore the island.
Anna Maria Island is a tropical barrier island seven and one half miles long. Its fine white sugar sand beaches are open to the public with convenient accesses along the entire island. It is one of the finest beaches in the United States. Unlike some tourist areas of Florida that are typified by endless rows of high rise apartment buildings and hotels, Anna Maria is an island of homes and small resorts.
You are vacationing in a residential area where homes are in close proximity to each other. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. A violation of the city's noise control ordinance shall subject the violator to the issuance of a notice of violation or citation. The overall feeling of this beach home is Peace.
They take great care to have it meticulously clean and the wide stairways and high ceilings add another level of openness.
I am a person who never likes to stay anywhere with any carpeting. However, due to how clean this place was, it was comforting to have carpeting on the steps and in the bedrooms. It amazes me that they can keep off-white carpeting clean when it's at the entranceway!
The garage is great to store things and the large amount of beach supplies (coolers, chairs, rafts, wagon...) was amazing! My son enjoyed the ping pong table too.
The salt water swimming pool was great and very close and convenient and we even saw a new kind of bird we've never seen in the 7 years we've been visiting Anna Maria Island.
Definitely recommend!

Overall, we were pleased, especially with the location and the size of the space. The condo was clean but extremely outdated. The carpets upstairs, bathrooms and kitchen probably haven't been replaced in 20+ years and it shows. If they updated the place, we would definitely stay again.

The property was nice but not as clean as it could have been. We found an old band aid in the bedroom and there were no extra paper towels or toilet paper at the location. Also, we didn't have extra trash bags for the kitchen trash can.
