2.5 kilometers from Prades, a town known in part for the Pablo Casals festival, the Canigou chalets welcome you in a setting combining greenery and tranquility. You can visit, in its surroundings, magnificent abbeys (St Martin du Canigou, St Michel de Cuxa, the priory of Serrabone, ...), Romanesque churches, castles (Fort Liberia in Villefranche-de-Conflent, Fort de Mont Louis, ...). Many excursions are available to you: a trip aboard the little yellow train from Villefranche-de-Conflent to the Cerdagne plateau, a hike in the Casteil animal park, two local markets, Tuesday and Saturday . Or for the more athletic, hikes, hikes, horse riding, mountain biking, canyoning, white water bases, hot springs of St Thomas, around Mont Canigou (2785 m above sea level) and its natural parks (Mantet, Nyer , Nohèdes, Eynes)

Het is een leuk, klein en gezellig huisje. Je kijkt leuk uit, het is er gezellig. Maar verwacht niet te veel.
Wij zaten daar met een gezin met 3 kinderen; dat is erg krap. Iedereen slaapt bij elkaar. Daarbij is het huis zeer gehorig; iedere plank kraakt.
Ook de faciliteiten zijn zeer basic: slechte wifi, twee elektrische kookplaatjes en net te weinig keukengerei, om wat voorbeelden te noemen.
De eigenaar is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
