About this chalet rental

2.5 kilometres from Prades, a town known in part for the Pablo Casals festival, the chalets of Canigou welcome you in a setting combining greenery and tranquillity. You can visit, in its surroundings, magnificent abbeys (St Martin du Canigou, St Michel de Cuxa, the priory of Serrabone,...), Romanesque churches, castles (Fort Liberia in Villefranche-de-Conflent, Fort de Mont Louis,...). Many excursions are available to you: a ride on the little yellow train from Villefranche-de-Conflent to the Cerdanya plateau, a hike in the Casteil animal park, two local markets, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Or for the more sporty, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, canyoning, white water bases, hot springs of St Thomas, around Mount Canigou (2785 m above sea level) and its natural parks (Mantet, Nyer, Nohèdes, Eynes)Private access to the river el LLiscou, facilities for picnics

We had a nice few days exploring this beautiful area, and Eric's cabin was a delight. A lovely homely, rustic haven with a private garden with parking, mountain views and a great place to be with our dog.

If you're looking for a secluded cabin in the Pyreneeën, this is the place to be. Well equipped wooden cabin with 2 floors and a spacious fenced garden ideal for dogs. At a short drive you will find a Lidl (in Codalet) and the beautiful villages Eus and Villefranche. You do need a car but everything is closely. We will definitely be back!

Im Chalet war nicht genügend Licht, aber man gewöhnt sich dran. Die Matrazen waren durchgelegen. Die Küchenzeile mit zwei Herdplatten alt. Aber die Lage der Häuschen hat das ganze wettgemacht . 👍. Sehr ruhige Lage.
