This house benefits from a vaulted living room (391 sft/36 sqm) on the ground floor with dining area and custom made oak fully equipped kitchen. The living room opens onto the courtyard/small garden (345 sft/32 sqm) with summer living room and dining area/ The courtyard benefits from a swimmable fountain (6 X 6 ft; depth: 4.9 ft/ 2X 2 m; depth: 1.45 m) and great amount of sun light (South West exposure)
On the first floor, the hallway leads to 2 bedrooms (135 and 136 sft / 12.5 and 13 sqm), as well as a marble bathroom with Italian shower and separated wc (53 sft/5 m²). Bedrooms offer bucolic and open views and benefits from large amount of sunlight.
The decor is particularly refined and offers 17 and 18th century oil paintings, antique furniture as well as contemporary, high end Italian sofas and beds.

In 2024 we had a great time again. It is always very restful to stay in this amazing house. We love Uzes with so different restaurants as L‘Oustal (every afternoon), Café des amis, Ten, Era Ora (great and new for us), Table d‘Uzès (very good one Michelin star), L‘agricole, Cuisine de Boucher and our second home Ma Cantine..

The property is superb, although car parking would be a challenge without sensors. The location could not be better, with all of Uzes literally on the doorstep although far enough away to avoid noise. The town, although relatively small, has everything needed for a great vacation, whilst there are great sites within easy driving range. My wife and I rank this experience amongst the best we have ever had in France.

Lovely apartment with a really nice courtyard. Nice rooms, kitchen and bathroom. Central in Uzés but still quiet. Nice to have access to the garage, the host was nice to offer alternative parking during the Fete Votive, thank you very much Hervé. Unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy the small pool, which was a major reason why I chose the property... there was a leak and it was emptied on the 2nd day, unfortunately it could not be repaired during the week I rented. No refund during the rental period, but an offer for a refund on future bookings, however I have no immediate plans to go to Uzés again, so I hope this applies for many years. But a lovely and charming place that I would definitely recommend. 5* when the pool has water.

The property and location were both great. So close to everything Uzes has to offer, which is great places to eat and visit. The town is beautiful and despite the property being so close to the centre was quiet and private. The house was equipped with everything we needed. We loved our stay from the moment we arrived to the morning we left. Communication from the host was very good and much appreciated.

Herve’s property is outstanding. It’s very stylishly furnished & immaculately clean. This was our first visit to Uzes and it’s central location is ideal - you are literally a few metres from all the bars & shops yet when you shut the front door, you’re transported into an oasis of calm & quiet! The little garden with its lovely plunge pool is fantastic and so welcome on a hot day. Finally, having an allocated parking space is worth its weight in gold. From the initial enquiry about booking, we found Herve to be very responsive & helpful and we highly recommend staying here when in Uzes.

Stylishly furnished and accessorised this amazing town house in the centre of Uzes provided us with a perfect base to explore this area of Provence. The property is just off the main boulevard of Uzes so access to the historic sites and restaurants etc is brilliant. Once inside the property there is complete quiet and calm particularly in the beautiful courtyard garden with its amazing plunge pool.We spent many relaxing afternoons in the garden soaking up the sun and enjoying the peace. The house was immaculate and is furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard. Our communication with the owner from initial stages and throughout our stay was top class-he gave us all information in a timely manner and responded to any questions immediately. To have private garaging was a real bonus. We would totally recommend this property. Thank you Herve for all your support and for providing such a special rental.

Perfect location for exploring Uzès and the surrounding region. The apartment is as pictured and even better. Very comfortable bed and spacious kitchen and living area. Extremely responsive and gracious host. We have been using VRBO since 2007, and this is one of our favorite stays and hosts thus far. Looking forward to coming back soon.

My husband and I had a fabulous stay. The house is a charming oasis in Uzès, which in itself is a spectacular place. The house has a well-equipped kitchen. (Sharp knives!! Beautiful cutlery and dishes!! A good selection of pots and pans, and even some containers and wrap for leftovers.) We spent 8 nights here, during the week we worked US hours and the house was very comfortable with solid Wi-Fi. Everything Uzès has to offer is right out the door. Hervé is the consummate host. He sent us pictures to help guide us to the house, met us, walked us through the house, and offered some great restaurant recommendations. When a couple of issues arose during our stay he was responsive and focused on fixing the problem. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great stay in a little house in the middle of the town of Uzès. The location was perfect. Uzès is beautiful, full of very nice restaurants and boutiques. The house was very clean and well equipped.

Very well-appointed and well located. Stylish and beautiful apartment. Loved the courtyard with plunge pool. Very quiet - even though a stone’s throw from Place aux Herbes. Info if you are coming by car: there is a garage at back of property. The impasse is a tiny alley between Salon Paul (hair) and Terres du Sud (estate agents) and very easy to miss!

Our stay was really great ! This is a very high-end property and very stylish renovated. The 18th century stone walls our 'cool', very appreciated with the heat wave during our stay (nearly every day +35 degrees outside). Split level individual airco in both bedrooms makes it comfortable to sleep in these high temperatures. The bathroom and kitchen amenities our very qualitative and stylish. The very small plunge pool welcomed us for a refreshing splash in the cold water. The rental is just a step down of the cosy medieval Uzès center with a lot of nice provencal restaurants, bars, local shops, art galleries, markets, festivities, ... the private and covered parking space just down the small street was very practical ! Just one little remark: there is no way to step into or step out of the 1.45 m deep plunge pool. Because we are only in our thirties, this was fur us not a huge problem, but we can imagine that this isn't very comfortable for elderly or less mobile people. Maybe there is an easy solution for that ? In general everyting was fine and we don't hesitate to book again for un upcoming stay in the region. Kind regards, Bruno and Vincent

We spent four wonderful summer weeks in this stylish apartment. We were very much at home immediately; the building's original features, beautifully & respectfully restored, and exceptional furnishings and equipment, create a spacious, charming and comfortable environment. The combination of the stone walls and effective aircondtioning upstairs ensured that the apartment was always cool. The courtyard was a delightful spot to reflect on the events of each day as we enjoyed a glass of local wine - after a quick cool down in the bassin. The location is perfect - everything you might want to do or see in the village is just steps away, yet peaceful once the door is closed. And, the adjacent car park was a rare and much appreciated bonus. Uzès is just the right size - it's lively and active and it certainly lived up to its reputation as an elegant village. We highly recommend both the apartment and Uzès for a memorable sejour.

This property is even better than the pictures depict. Everything has been thought of from Nespresso machine to washer/dryer. The location is outstanding, everything is just out the front door however once inside the property it is extremely quiet. The courtyard is lovely and we had our breakfast outside every morning after visiting the Boulangerie. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this property.

We had an amazing time at Herve's place in Uzes. I highly recommend it! The place itself was beautiful and beautifully furnished. The bedrooms were spacious and even the shower had great water pressures! The outside space was quiet and relaxing with a great umbrella for shade. A perfect place for a couple who want that second bedroom or for 3-4 adults traveling together. Also great for a couple with a very young baby who isn't yet crawling. Because the opening to the staircase from upstairs was quite large and there was no railing until further down the stairs, I'd be hesitant to stay here with little kids who'd be at risk of falling. Herve was such a fantastic host. When we arrived he showed us around the place and how all the appliances work. He was so apologetic because he had just found out that the dishwasher was broken, but he had it fixed SO quickly. We were there for 3 weeks and each Sunday when we were out he came by with clean sheets and towels and replenished our supply of Nespresso pods :) Truly an amazing host. All I can say is that I hope we have reason to stay here again someday!

We chose this property 11 months ago. We have been to Uzès twice before and thought we would look for something special and stay for a month. The advertising did not do this wonderful apartment justice. It has been renovated from a garage/medieval barn to a modern 2 bedroom property. The kitchen / living area is tastefully decorated retaining the wonderful structural features that only old France seems to have had. The kitchen facilities were excellent as were the appliances. We arrived and found gifts of a bottle of Mumm and some nespresso coffee pods to get us going. I bathed in the fountain every day...very cold but because of the heatwave it was so so welcome. The owners really knew how to look after their clients. Clean linen and towels every week and everyone spoke English well and was so friendly and obliging. The location, off Gambetta was perfect and even with markets twice a week it was so peaceful with no traffic or general noise. We were fascinated with the flocks of birds which every night provided us with a little natures hike sipping local Gris rose St Firman. Downstairs in the living area it remained very very cool - even with the heatwave. Highly, highly recommended!
