The perfect home for your family vacation!
Enjoy this beautiful beach home, just a few steps from the beautiful beaches of Hilton Head Island. 14 Bittern is located in the North Forest Beach neighborhood, 5th row from the ocean and just a short walk to Coligny Plaza’s shops, restaurants, and entertainment. Enjoy the front screened porch in the morning for coffee or evening for a glass of wine. The large back deck overlooks the 23 x 12' pool below. There is a propane grill and seating on the back deck for at least 8. Spend time relaxing in the sun on the large pool deck. Just off the pool deck, you can enjoy the air-conditioned game room with a ping pong table and seating.
As you enter the home you will walk into the spacious living room with a flat-screen TV, plenty of seating, and high vaulted ceilings. Off the left side of the living room is the master bedroom suite with a king bed and access to the front screen porch. The master has a private bath with large walk in shower. Across the living room there are 2 bedrooms. The 1st guest bedroom has a queen bed and access to the front porch. The 2nd guest bedroom also has a queen bed and access to the back deck. These two bedrooms each have private powder rooms but share a tub/shower. Upstairs, there are 2 additional bedrooms and a full bathroom between them. Each room has 2 twin beds.
Just off the living room is the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen and dining area have access to the back deck which makes it easy to grill your favorite foods. The galley style kitchen is fully equipped, and the dining area seats at least 8. Off the dining area are a full-size washer and dryer. There is covered and uncovered parking at the house as well, with plenty of space for up to 5 vehicles.

The location was awesome! We loved being so close to Coligny and the beach. The 5 bedrooms worked well for everyone.

The house was as described and perfect for our family. Pool was cleaned twice during our stay and house was clean. Bedrooms were perfect for our family. Property is truly less than a minute from the beach and 2 minutes to Coligny Plaza. Only hesitation is the front steps are steep going down - the backyard steps have been redone and are better - especially when you’re carry stuff down for the beach. This was minor for us and we would have no hesitation staying here again.

House was beautiful. Clean and plenty of room for all of us. Great location! Would recommend heating the pool if you come this early in spring.

The layout of this house was perfect for our family of 10. Everyday, we enjoyed the front screened in porch for breakfast and in the evening when the kids were in bed. The pool was great however it was difficult to keep clean because of the trees. Also, there is no fencing in one area so we looked at the neighbor's trash cans. The game room was a mess. The air-conditioner didn't work and the TV was sitting on the floor.
The dining room had only 7 chairs so 3 of us sat on coolers. I asked the management company for folding chairs but never received them.
In the living room, the couch and throw pillows were very stained. There were holes in the arms of the rattan chairs and a torn cushion on one of other chairs.
Despite these issues, our family enjoyed their Hilton Head vacation.
