About this cottage rental

"La Petite Maison" (The Little House) is only small in name and its original condition, as it actually offers a generous total living space. With its two large living areas (a fireplace on one side and a games room on the other), it offers wonderful opportunities for convivial gatherings around the fire or a game of billiards. Two staircases provide access to the upper floor, allowing for comfortable living with friends or family. The same applies to the garden: a lovely green space with games extends from the courtyard, and a second green area is accessible at the rear! This house, which has all the features of a large estate, is ideally located for exploring the magnificent west coast of the Cotentin peninsula! From the harbor of Portbail to the dunes of Hatainville, breathtaking natural landscapes surround you. The ground-floor shower is also a welcome feature for a seaside holiday... The beach is just a few minutes from the hamlet.

Aucun doute, la région de Barneville-Carteret est absolument géniale et magnifique.
Toutefois, le logement d'apparence très propre dans les photos s'est révélé l'être beaucoup moins (sanitaires à peine faits, nombreux cheveux dans les siphons de douche, et sols sales) Pourtant, un forfait "ménage" d'une valeur de 40€ est proposé. Quand ce forfait est payé, le ménage est-il fait en conséquence ? La réponse à cette question est loin d'être évidente ! Nous avons donc rendu le logement plus propre que quand nous l'avions trouvé. La chaise bébé a du être complètement nettoyée car celle-ci se trouvait dans un état d'hygiène inconvenable pour notre bébé (restes de nourritures des précédents vacanciers, mouches mortes sur la tablette). Une forte odeur de reflux d'égouts nous a également accompagné tout au long de notre séjour.
Enfin, en plus d'avoir payé 40€ de frais de séjour pour notre petit chien pour 3 jours passés, nous avons dû régler 3€ de facture d'électricité (consommation n'incluant même pas le chauffage qui était en option !) Vous l'aurez compris, les propriétaires de ce logement semblent plus intéressés qu'intéressants... C'est dommage !
