The property is in a quiet area of Abashiri, easy to reach by car and through a shortcut on foot. The inside is very spacious, clean and well distributed. The host is very helpful and forthcoming.
The property did not include any cooking facilities.

Fantastic place to stay in Abashiri. Private and cosy, but not too far from town (and an absolutely delicious soba restaurant!) Most of all, Takayoshi-san is a wonderful and kind host 😊

室内は清潔で快適だった。高台にありロケーションもよかった。環境も静かで大変落ち着いた環境である。
町中にあるので車があれば食料品の買い出しなど豊富な食材が手に入る環境である。
朝、内庭にリスが来て餌を食べているところがみられたのも良かったです。
火災の危険を心配するのは理解できるが、食事なしの戸建てを借りる場合、かなりの確率で食材を買ってロッジ内で調理したい人がいるのではないかと思います。火器、鍋、包丁などの最低限の調理器具は常備してほしかった。
海が見える高台の立地なので部屋の窓から一望できれば最高だったが、前の敷地の樹木が邪魔をしてあまり見えなかったのが残念でした。
