Wonderful and cozy. Really close to interesting spots and the room was exactly what I needed.
I saw a centipede in the bathroom. Though, it's an old building and we are in Japan. This is just a thing I'm not used to 😂
Just a heads-up for others that are more squeamish.

We felt very much at home in this beautiful hostel - the interior design is amazing, with lots of stylish details which creates an very calming atmosphere. The bed was extremely comfortable with nice duvet, loved it!
The location was perfect for us too, with convenient store just across the road and a big supermarket 5 min away. All Otaru attractions are in walking distance.
