COTIGNAC AUTHENTIC AND UNSPOILT: CHARMING PROVENÇALE HOUSE WITH SPECTACULAR VIEW.
It is an ideal retreat for couples or small families seeking peace and relaxation in the heart of beautiful Provence.
Cotignac, officially listed among the “Most Beautiful Villages of France,” is just a five-minute drive away, with its restaurants, cafés, and charming boutiques.
This authentic Provençal house, full of character, is set on a lovely hillside surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, fig trees, pomegranate trees, and woodland where nightingales nest in springtime. The views are magnificent: to the south, the Sainte-Baume and Maures mountain ranges, and to the north, the first foothills of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
Access to the property is via a very steep dirt track that is not suitable for low-clearance vehicles (minimum recommended ground clearance: 14–15 cm / 5.5–6 inches).
The house is tastefully decorated, featuring marble floors and antique mosaics. It offers two bedrooms: one with a very comfortable king-size bed, and the other with two twin beds that can be joined together to form a large queen-size bed.
On the south side, a large shaded terrace invites you to relax. A second terrace overlooks a shallow pool measuring 4 m × 3 m × 0.9 m (13 ft × 10 ft × 3 ft), ideal for cooling off in summer or for young children to safely enjoy the water.
Upstairs, a charming covered terrace provides an additional space to enjoy the peace and the view.
Young children will love the oversized sandbox.
Cooking enthusiasts will find everything they need to prepare meals comfortably, and a French window provides direct access from the kitchen to the terrace, where you can enjoy lunch in the shade of a two-hundred-year-old mulberry tree.
Parking is available behind the house. A garage is being built during the off season.

Nous avons passé une semaine au mois de mai 2016 dans cette maison avec nos 2 enfants. Nous l'avons trouvée merveilleuse, très charmante. La vue est magnifique et c'était un bonheur de déjeuner sous les arbres juste devant la maison. On avait en plus tout les jours des fraises du jardin ! L'intérieur de la maison est aussi très charmant, très bien équipé et très propre. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants.
Pour les activités, nous avons apprécié de faire du Kayak à coté sur l'Argens (15min de la maison) et de la randonnée (guides trouvés à la maison de la presse de Cotignac). Le village de Cotignac est très sympa, le marché le mardi aussi.
Nous espérons bien faire un nouveau séjour dans cette maison l'année prochaine.

Romatisches Hideaway...
Wir haben im Spätsommer eine Woche Urlaub in der Provence gemacht, bei schönstem Sonnenwetter.
Das Häuschen ist sehr liebevoll und individuell mit Antiquitäten eingerichtet. Der Ausblick ist wirklich spektakuläre - Sonnenuntergänge und Vollmond auf der Terrasse geniessen. Absolut ungestört und ruhig. Wir kommen aus Berlin und haben daher diese Stille besonders genossen.
Nicht zu vergessen: kühle Abende bei prasselndem Kaminfeuer geniessen. Wunderbar.
Ein ganzes grosses Kompliment an unsere Landlady Boyaca!

Wir (4 Pers.+Hund) hatten eine wunderschöne Ferienwoche in Cotignac. Der Blick von der Terrasse in die Umgebung und der Garten sind traumhaft. Auch das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Boyaca gab uns viele wertvolle Tips für unsere Tagesausflüge und war immer sehr hilfsbereit bei all unseren Fragen. Wir wären am liebsten noch viel länger geblieben. Vielen lieben Dank Boyaca. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Excellent séjour dans une très belle maison de qualité, un superbe cadre, très calme dans la verdure de la Provence verte. Très bon accueil et précieux conseil de la propriétaire pour découvrir les petits villages environnements (marché, point de vue, visite, restaurants et commerçants "locaux").
