About this cottage rental

Character gîte of 95 m2 in stone, consisting of a main residence (75 m2) and an annex (20 m2). The cottage has a completely private swimming pool of 10 m x 5 m. It is located in the north of the Lot department in a very touristy area.

At the entrance to a beautiful village, gîte located on 2000 m2 of land, tastefully restored, consisting of a main residence from the 19th century and an annex (bedroom and bathroom) dating from 1934. It is equipped with a pétanque court and a ping-pong table.

The main residence is air conditioned using a heat pump made up of an external unit and 3 internal units located in the 2 bedrooms and the living room/lounge of the main residence. This also includes an equipped kitchen of 10.5 m2, a large bedroom of 17 m2 with a fireplace, a 140 cm bed, a 90 cm bed and a second bedroom of 12 m2 with a 160 cm bed. There is also a 4.5m2 bathroom with WC.

The annex consists of a 17m2 bedroom including a 140 cm bed and a fireplace. There is also a bathroom with WC of 3 m2 with direct access from the bedroom. The bathroom is heated by an electric convector. The annex room is not heated.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ,sous le soleil omniprésent de ce début Juillet nous avons pu a la fois profiter de la magnifique piscine et de la fraicheur de la maison grace a la climatisation de celle ci . La tranquillité de la location (dans un hameau ou l'élevage de vaches et veaux est roi) se fait au prix d'un acces par de petites routes sinueuses .

Que de petites routes pour arriver à destination.Comptez une heure pour accéder à un centre avec des commerces et au plus près une demi heure pour le pain !!! Les grands sites touristiques sont à minimum 40 minutes à 1h30 de route , c'est dommage . La maison est très agréable et lle jardin et la piscine aussi . Un peu plus de couteaux dans le tiroir et ustensiles culinaires ne seraient pas de trop.. Pour la soirée TV , quand on est 6 , c'est un peu juste pour le confort sur le petit divan . Mais ce n'est qu'un détail . Les proches voisines sont très sympathiques , de belles vaches et leurs veaux. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et la Communication sans soucis

Maison au calme, bien équipée malgré quelques équipements anciens. La piscine est géniale, dommage qu'elle ne soit pas chauffée quand le temps est couvert comme ce mois d'Août. Grande cave pour ranger les vélos. Propriétaire très sympa et bon accueil.

WiFi was not working and had not been working for some time. We were not told prior to our stay. Both showers do not have the facility to fix the shower head in position so this makes showering difficult. The sinks in the main house bathroom are broken, the waste plungers do not work. You will be asked to clean the pool but there is no mention of this in the booking information. The wooden steps up to the pool are very slippery when wet and in poor condition so need replacing. The House is about 30 minutes drive to the nearest town and mostly on extremely twisting roads. If you stay for 2 weeks the driving just to get to a main road can become a little frustrating. I would not recommend this property for families with young children. The location is lovely and very rural but remote. The little bar in Comiac is lovely too.
