In the heart of Haut Quercy, this old stone sheepfold, with a mansard roof, completely restored in the middle of the countryside will be ideal for holidays with family or friends.
Gite not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
The house offers a magnificent view of the valley of Saint-Médard de Presque, known for its golden Queen Claude plum, the castle of Presque, as well as the castle of Castelnau or that of Montal

In this peaceful hamlet, ideal for rest and sunbathing in peace, you can enjoy an authentic and preserved nature, with its many picturesque villages (Saint-Céré, Rocamadour, Padirac, Loubressac, Carennac, Autoire, Beaulieu, Figeac). You can do many hikes from the house, along the paths lined with dry stone walls of the causse.

Nearby many activities will be possible: water park (Willow), mountain biking, horse riding in a horse riding center located 3km away, Montal golf course, canoeing and fishing for amateurs on the Dordogne, Alvignac Casino, cinema. You can enjoy many visits: Caves of Almost 5 minutes walk, Padirac chasm, Gramat animal park, Rocher des aigles, Jean Lurçat museum, Champollion museum.
You can also go to the market to enjoy the many regional products (farm lamb from Quercy, duck confit, foie gras, fruit and vegetables, honey and rocamadours, etc.).

We stayed for 5 weeks and were very pleased with the house. The location is a bit remotely but still close to Saint Cere for shopping. You can here cars in the distance during the day, but it's not disturbing. During the night it's completely quiet.During our stay there was a heatwave and the airco and the pool were a blessing at that time.The owner was really very friendly and helpfullyThe kitchen was good equipped, the beds very comfortable and the bathrooms ok.The wifi was fast inside, outside a bit slow.The only problem were the wooden planks around the swimming pool, it needs some repair and you have to be careful for splinters.We would for sure have extended our 5 week stay if that had been possible and will likely return one of the coming years.

An enjoyable stay in a well equipped and clean property in a lovely location. Hosts were welcoming and helpful. While rural the property is located on a cliff top above a fairly busy road and traffic noise could at times be noticeable. There was no indication in the property details as to whether bedding or towels are included and we had to pay extra for those as they are not!

Pierre, the owner, lives nearby and was there to help whenever needed. If anything, the online details did not do justice to the property and the pool and hot tub. Quiet location. Good shops and vibe in nearby St. Cere. Remember you need to take your own bedding and towels. Plenty of peace and quiet. Highly recommend.

We have spent a week there and it was just perfect. The house is well equipped, one can relax a hundred per cent and the dogs were also very happy. We will definitely come back.
