The location is great for easy access into Kobe. The staff are lovely. The complimentary drinks machine was a highlight for the kids.
The rooms were standard Japanese hotel size - small but totally manageable. The beds were comfy.
We booked non-smoking rooms and the whole hotel claims to be non smoking but our rooms were disgusting. The smell was pervasive. I guess floor 4 used to be the smokers floor before they changed the policy and it is horrid. The smell of smoke is in the carpet and the walls and the whole floor smells terrible. Don't accept a floor 4 room. It was gross.
