Hotel Yumkiin - Cerca Del Ferry y Terminal ADO

Fantastic location, near many good cafés and restaurants, and about 10 minutes’ walk to the ferry terminal. ADO bus terminal is just a few blocks away. King room is very spacious. This hotel is basic, but great value. Walmart and Soriana mega-supermarket stores are just a few minutes’ walk. For my meals, there were many good places nearby to sit down and eat or simply order and take back to the hotel. The mini refrigerator in the room was good to have keep yogurt and other food. At night, one could hear some singing and music from nearby establishments and the municipal plaza nearby. But that didn’t last until late. it was generally quiet after 10 pm. I was able to sleep quite well during my stay. In addition, staff were very helpful and accommodating when I had to change my dates of stay. I truly appreciate the hotel’s flexibility.

For a value stay, this hotel works well.

The location was perfect for my mobility needs — walkable to the ocean, close to Chedraui, and right near the Xcaret shuttle stop. The hotel has beautiful Mexican architecture and colours. It had everything I needed physically.

My ground floor room near reception was very noisy. Large groups chatted loudly late into the night and early morning. Music and TV played at high volumes during those hours too. There was no privacy with everyone walking by the main hallway. I had to leave after one night because I couldn't sleep before my flight.

Great location just a few blocks from the beach but outside the noise of the downtown. Close to ADO alterna station and Walmart. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Rooms were clean with hot showers, tv, and good wifi. Staff were very friendly. The balcony overlooking the street from the hallways was nice. I liked the open air courtyard between the hallways. Air conditioning is ice cold.

Beds are firm (not bad, just not my preference). Some noise from the street but that's expected (and not as loud as downtown)

Warning: unsafe! all rooms has the same key, a man was "mistaken" and "accidentely" entered my room with his room key! Zero noise isolation, you here everything from outside and from other guests plus the staff are super loud all day long and make so much noise. The cleaners just come in to your room, no sign. The staff are very unfriendly, I felt very unwelcomed during all my stay. The shower is super small. The aircon is very loud The bed was uncomfortable they only provide sheets, no blankets.
