Geen airco, bloedheet in appartement boven. Daarom eerder vertrokken

Heerlijk appartement op wandelafstand van het centrum van Rüdesheim am Rhein. Fijne, grote badkamer. Goed uitgeruste keuken en fijn bed. Goede communicatie met de host. Zeker aan te bevelen deze fijne plek!

Great location on the park waterfront with views and easy to walk along the Rhein, especially if you have a dog or want to be in a quiet area but super close (less than 10 mins walk) to shops and restaurants. Friendly host who checks in to make sure you have everything you need and speaks excellent English and also has his own offering of delicious Rhein wine. Apartment was clean, as described and parking was easy (and included - a real bonus in Rüdesheim). Also fair pricing on a 1x cost for a pet.

Probably not an issue for most, but you access the apartment from outside stairs (20 in total) that are metal grates to avoid ice/snow buiild-up. My dog refused so I had to carry her up/down. She is only 10kg but with my bad knee this was hard and I felt nervous each time. However, my friend's dog had no problem with the stairs and the people in the other apartment also had a dog that was fine with it. Not a complaint, just a heads up if someone else has a very sensitive dog.

It was pleasant enough, but nothing special.

We didn't receive any email about collecting the keys and a helpful man in the tourist office took several attempts before he could make phone contact for us. Parking was strange. There were two items of farm machinery parked under our terrace and part of the driveway was taken up by some wheeled apparatus so we took the slightly wider area near the steps leading up to the accommodation and hoped that was okay because there was no indication of where to park. Even with the window wide open the bathroom steamed up from short showers. We stayed an extra two nights and mentioned that we needed more toilet paper. A roll appeared on the terrace table. This was the only human contact we had for our stay.
