Fantastic location and lovely building with plenty of space and great views. The pool was lovely, but the pool cover was slightly tired and not always easy to open. Beds were all comfortable and cosy. Kitchen was well kitted-out, although some of the frying pans weren't suitable for the induction hob so didn't work. BBQ was great and worked really well. Also easy to clean which helps. Table tennis table and room were a big hit - perfect space for it. House was clean throughout. Lovely garden and forest area with a rope swing the kids loved. Nice walk out from the bottom of the garden to the beaches.

The house and the garden are super. Very well equiped. The pool is nice and warm. You can also take the roof of the pool for a nicer look. The views from the terrasse and the eatingcorner give an extra. Lots of nice villages and places to visit.

We cannot fault this property. It exceeded our expectations in every way! The house is beautiful and immaculately clean. The view of the sea is just stunning and changes every 5 minutes. It was amazing to sit and watch all the boats, paddleboarders etc. The pool was the main highlight for us, You can keep the cover over it for safety when you are not using it and when they weather isn't warm, the shelter over the top keeps it nice and warm. It location was exactly what we were looking for. It was rural and very quiet. The local towns provided loads of places to eat and the Paimpol market on Tuesday was just brilliant for everyone! The house itself has everything you could need: two washing machines and two dryers (though we never really figured out the dryers properly!!) The pool table and table tennis table provided entertainment for all. We all enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and eating in the conservatory or outside when the weather was good. As a party of 9, there was plenty of space for everyone. There are plenty of places nearby to shop with everything you could need; even a Lidl (You must try the local Paimpol cider!) Alan came to visit a couple of times to welcome up and to say goodbye and provided us with ideas for things to do during our stay. Alan's communication was quick and thorough and we cannot wait to come back next year. Thank you Alan!

We had the pleasure of staying in this property in June 2023. We were 2 families and had plenty of space indoors and out. The house itself was very clean, well appointed and comfortable. The bedrooms were all spacious and had good storage, with all except the basement room having sea views. The master suite was especially luxurious with fantastic views. Some prior reviews said that the basement room was not suitable, but we found it to be more than sufficient and comfortable and was a great hideout for the eldest 'child' in our group (who is 20). The outdoor space is what makes this property very special. The pool was lovely and having a removable roof was very handy with the changeable Brittany weather. We were able to enjoy the pool all week despite the weather not always being very warm. The barbecue area, indoor and outdoor terraces were ideal spots to enjoy the views of the wonderful gardens and coast. The location of the house is quite remote, the local village of Paradis doesn't have any shops or restaurants but Pleubian (less than 10 minutes drive) has everything you would need. There is plenty to explore in the local area as long as you have transport. Overall we had a fantastic stay and wouldn't hesitate to re-book or recommend to friends.

We have enjoyed our vacation at the home we rented, the home’s bathroom and kitchen could definitely use some remodel and or upkeep, the cleanliness of the home was not up, the house is certainly older but could be cleaner The bedroom in the basement not picture on the internet should not be considered as a bedroom, i didn’t want anyone in my family to sleep in that bedroom. The kitchen was simply dirty, not a good reflection of what is listed online, we have enjoy the home for the most part, but the kitchen, bedroom in the basement and bathroom did not meet our expectation .

From the moment we saw this blue-shuttered house and the view out over the sea, we were captivated. We spent a positively relaxing two weeks enjoying the property and the locality. The house is well equipped and spacious, with the added bonus of the pool table and the all weather swimming pool. This mother of ten was also thrilled to find TWO washers and dryers! Every hour the view out the window changed and it was simply stunning. We didn’t have to go far the whole time - a couple of trips to explore Paimpol (which has everything you need only about 15 minutes away), a couple of trips to the north coast at Le Quebo, and a day trip to Lannion and the amazing lighthouse at Perros-Guirec (well worth the visit!). However, the rest of the time was spent relaxing in the property and the surrounding coastline, with lovely little public footpath walks along the coastline - perfect for the children (and adults!) to explore and enjoy. If you’re looking for somewhere to switch off from the busyness of life and just exhale, this is the place for you. There was a TV but we didn’t need it - who needs TV when you have a beautiful location and a lovely house? We would love to return! Highly recommend this amazing property and beautiful corner of France.

12-(5adults, 7kids) of us had an amazing week staying in this lovely villa, the views are breathtaking and the surrounding area peaceful. We had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Alan was kind and helpful and Damien too. A few things could be improved....the double bedroom in the basement was damp so we didnt use it, the hot water kept running out towards the end of each day (which was difficult with 12 of us!) Some of the kitchen utensils could be updated and sorted as some were broken. But saying all this, it really didn't affect our week, we made it work and we had a fab time.

We have just returned from a two week holiday at Lanmodez. We loved the house and the wonderful, peaceful. views of the sea with its sunsets and sunrises and changing colours. The house is bigger than it looks in the photos and there was plenty of room for us to spread ourselves and each have some quiet time to read etc.. The house has some lovely features which are not shown in the photos such as a huge kitchen range in the dining room and a lovely Breton fireplace in the lounge. The kitchen is very well equipped apart from the lack of sink plugs! and includes a large American style fridge with ice dispenser,an induction hob and plenty of cutlery and crockery. No casserole with lid though! We found some nice lunch places on trips out to Loguivy and the Sillon. We also enjoyed the mussel shack at Lezardrieux. The bakery in Lezardrieux is excellent. We plan to visit the house again as we enjoyed it so much.

We have just returned from a two week stay at Lanmodez and have loved every minute of our stay. The villa is fully equipped with everything that you would want while on holiday and more. It is big, airy and very comfortable. The pool is lovely and inviting, and being enclosed when the weather is not brilliant means that you get to make full use of it. It is kept at a constant 28 degrees! The garden and grounds are beautiful and frame the impressive sea views. As a family of 6 adults, one baby and a dog we could not have had a better stay, no one wanted to go home. Thank you Alan and Sylvie!

Wow, a fantastic house in the most amazing location. Wonderful scenery that changes hourly in front of your eyes as the tide ebbs and flows quite dramatically. This house makes the very best of the stunning view from all rooms. Large grounds with lawn sloping down to the beach and where we could swim. This was a family holiday and the house was large and comfortable for all. We used the heated swimming pool throughout the week as it was covered and heated to 28 degrees. Pool table had a lot of use. The house felt like a real home rather than rental cottage, well furnished and everything needed was provided. Excellent peaceful location, no road noise, no noisy neighbours a wonderful retreat to relax and explore this most beautiful part of the world. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful holiday, the house has beautiful views. The pool was great with the option to be indoors or open as it meant the kids could enjoy the pool even if the weather was cooler. Most of the house was lovely but the bathrooms could do with a makeover and the bedroom on the lower ground floor felt a little damp and apart from the main house. The local village, Lezardrieaux, was picture perfect, with a great patisserie and cafe, by the harbour a great little shack restaurant serving wonderful mussels, really relaxed. About an hour away the pink granite coast is well worth a visit, very pretty with some great cafes, we hired kayaks by the hour which was great fun. Overall well worth it and would definitely consider a return visit.

Wir haben hier schöne Ferien mit Familie und Freunden verbracht. Die 4 Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss sind einwandfrei. Das 5. Schlafzimmer im Keller ist optisch nicht schlecht, stellte sich allerdings als feucht heraus. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Backöfen haben ihre beste Zeit hinter sich, man kommt aber zurecht. Das Haus bietet überall viel Platz und Stauraum. Das Grundstück ist riesig und super gepflegt. Der Garten ist komplett eingezäunt und dementsprechend auch für Gäste mit Hund geeignet. Hinter dem Gartentor liegt direkt der Wanderweg und eine schöne Bucht mit Strand, an den sich selten jemand anderes verirrt. Der überdachte und beheizte Pool war ideal für die Kinder, da wir nicht durchgängig schönes Sommerwetter hatten. Alles in allem war es ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt und das Haus ist weiterzuempfehlen.

Es ist ein Traumhaus mit sensationellem Blick auf die Bucht, wir konnten uns nicht sattsehen. Wir waren nur zu zweit in diesem großen Haus und haben es genossen. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Die Terrasse ist groß, dort befindet sich der überdachte Pool, super, wenn das Wetter einmal nicht so mitspielt, was in der Bretagne ja nicht so selten ist. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einzig der Weg zum Haus ist beschwerlich. Auf 100m Länge vor dem Haus ist ein wirklich unwegsamer Feldweg mit sehr tiefen Rillen. Für einen SUV sicher kein Problem, aber für alle anderen Fahrzeuge eine Zumutung.

Vacances merveilleuses avec cette piscine dont on a abusé jour et nuit, pendant que d'autres s'affrontaient au billard. Le petit déjeuner face à la mer est un vrai régal pour les yeux avec ce spectacle qui se renouvelle selon les caprices de la météo. Un grand merci à Nathalie et son mari qui ont été très réactifs au moindre petit soucis (minimes) et ont su nous accueillir avec le sourire dans une maison parfaitement propre. Cela aurait été un crime de fermer les volets de la chambre parentale car du lit, on assiste au lever de soleil sur l'Ile de Brehat. A conseiller sans hésiter.

Ein sehr schönes grosszügiges Haus auf wunderschönem Grundstück mit wunderbarem Blick! Auch den Pool haben wir genossen! Der Wanderweg führt direkt am Grundstück vorbei ... mehr braucht es nicht, um auch im März einen entspannten Urlaub zu machen. Auch der Empfang war sehr herzlich und unkompliziert! Vielen Dank!!!

Nous avons passé une bonne semaine avec nos deux enfants de 8 et 10 ans dans cette très belle maison. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli par le couple qui s'occupe de la maison en l'absence du propriétaire. Le propriétaire est disponible si besoin mais nous n'avons pas eu besoin de le contacter. La maison est très grande, très agréable, très propre et chaleureuse. Le jardin et la vue sur la mer sont superbes, avec un accès direct sur la plage pour les ballades. Nous avons bien profité du billard, de la piscine chauffée chaque soir , et des livres de la bibliothèque. La maison est bien à l'écart , au calme, et pour un mois de février nous avons eu la chance d'avoir du beau temps et du soleil. Nous avons passé des vacances parfaites. Nous reviendrons.

Wir haben als Familie mit sieben Erwachsenen 11 Tage und Nächte im Oktober 2021 in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Wir sind schon lange Bretagne-Fans und hatten in weit mehr als 30 Jahren schon viele Ferienhäuser in der Bretagne gemietet. Daher gleich vorweg: Dieses Haus war mit eines der besten Häuser die wir je dort hatten! Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter im Vorfeld unseres Urlaubs verlief sehr angenehm und unproblematisch. Der Empfang und auch später die Abgabe des Hauses durch die Verwalter Nathalie und Serge waren sehr herzlich und reibungslos. Beide sind sehr sympathisch und bemüht. Serge spricht auch recht gut Englisch! Die Lage des gepflegten, sauberen Hauses ist ein Traum und die gesamte Ausstattung passt dazu. Die großzügig ausgestattete Küche und der tolle Wintergarten – in dem wir immer alle zusammen gegessen haben – waren unser täglicher Mittelpunkt des Hauses. Unsere erwachsenen Kinder und ihre Partner genossen den Billardtisch im Kaminzimmer (leider durfte der Kamin selbst nicht benutzt werden) und als Krönung natürlich den riesigen Pool, der von uns allen ausgiebig genutzt wurde. Sogar offen, obwohl wir erst ab Mitte Oktober dort waren. Wir hatten aber auch wirklich traumhaftes Wetter! Die 4 Schlafzimmer im oberen Stockwerk sind sehr schön mit wunderbaren Meerblick und haben gute, wenn auch etwas weiche Betten. Das Schlafzimmer im Keller ist wirklich nur ein Notbehelf, der von uns aber auch nicht benötigt wurde. Mit bis zu 10 Personen kommt man auch gut mit den vier oberen Schlafzimmern aus. Die 3 Bäder sind ebenfalls sehr angenehm wenn man mit vielen Personen dieses Haus bewohnt und alle sind gut ausgestattet. Der wirklich riesige Garten ist sehr schön angelegt und gepflegt. Neben wundervollen Blumen, Sträuchern und Hecken bietet er auch einen tollen, extrem abwechslungsreichen Baumbestand. Abschließend können wir alle sagen, dass es ein wunderschöner Urlaub in diesem tollen Haus war, in dem wir alle gerne noch länger geblieben wären. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Belle propriété au calme, bien équipée pour un séjour ressourçant ! Un seul bémol pour la 5ème chambre au sous-sol : humidité et odeur désagréables ne permettant pas son occupation ; des travaux sont apparemment prévus pour y remédier. Lors de notre séjour, la chaudière était en panne et nous avons pu apprécier la réactivité de notre hôte qui a tout mis en oeuvre pour que nous puissions profiter de radiateurs électriques en attendant le dépannage.

Es ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und mit etwas Schminke, könnte es wieder im vollen Glanz erscheinen. Das Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt , der Pool ist ein Traum. Die Matratzen waren für uns zu weich und wir gehören eher zu den Leichtgewichten ;). Moskitonetze vor den Fenstern (Schlafzimmer)wären eine Bereicherung, da es durch die Gezeiten viele Mücken gibt. Der Ausblick ist atemberaubend und immer spannend. Die Küche ist mit hochwertigen Geräten ausgestattet. Im Keller sind 2 Waschmaschinen und 2 Trockner, die zur Verfügung stehen, auch sehr positiv. Die Bäder sind in die Jahre gekommen und die Fenster würden sich über neue Farbe bestimmt freuen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Herzlichen Dank an Alan

Die ganze Familie, Grosseltern, Kinder und Enkelkinder waren begeistert. Wir waren 11 Personen. Es gab viel Platz, einen wunderbar grossen Pool, den wir bei jedem Wetter nutzen könnten. Der Garten ist riesig und schön angelegt. In grosser Runde in der verglasten Terasse zu essen, mit Blick auf das Meer und die Gerzeiten, war ein Genuss. Beim Aufwachen vom Schlafzimmer aus aufs Meer zu blicken, werden wir vermissen. Unsere Ferien waren ein voller Erfolg und gerne würden wir dort wieder eine Zeit verbringen. Danke an die Gastgeber, alles so geschmackvoll und praktisch zur Verfügung zu stellen. Ein Ferienparadies für eine grosse Familie oder Gruppe. Eine kleine Anmerkung: Die 4 Schlafzimmer im oberen Stockwerk sind sehr schön und haben gute Betten. Das Schlafzimmer im Tiefparterre ist ein Notfall. Unsere Teenager waren gottseidank bereit, dort zu schlafen.

Une vue dégagée sur la mer paradisiaque par temps ensoleillée ou de pluie grâce à sa grande véranda. Le vrai plus, la piscine chauffée et couvrable. Petit bémol pour la literie et surtout la chambre dans le garage qui sent beaucoup l'humidité. Pas d'accessibilité pour les personnes à mobilité réduite (poussette, personnes âgées) tant pour les chambres que pour l'accès à la mer, qui est très compliquée. Conseil : un peu plus de plats de cuisine pour les familles qui viennent à 12 et une flexibilité de 30 min idéale tant pour l'arrivée que le départ.
