About this apartment rental

At the heart of the shopping streets of Annecy and close to the Old Town. Fall in love with this small cosy apartment under the 42 sq.m Jacobin property. It is located on the fourth floor of a secure bourgeois building with lift. The atmosphere is cosy and intimate, and its style harmoniously combines with the reassuring atmosphere of the mountain chalet and contemporary comfort. Completely renovated in during the summer of 2015, the apartment consists of a beautiful bedroom with a large dressing room, a king-size bed and a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is entirely equipped with and oven a microwave, a Nespresso coffee maker. The living room has a sofa bed. It also has a HD TV with cable, Wi-Fi access, and Bluetooth audio equipment with jack plug. For your comfort, the apartment is equipped with a washing machine, a dishwasher, an iron, and a vacuum cleaner. For travelling in Annecy, a tourist guide, a bus route map, and contact information of various tourist providers will be provided. Our welcome book will be available with the best information so that you can have an enjoyable stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this Annecy apartment. It is comfortable and cozy. The kitchen had everything that we needed and the bathroom is large with a nice shower and 2 sinks. We were grateful for the working lift and we found parking in the underground garage a block away that was reasonably priced. The location was perfect. Just a block or two from lots of excellent restaurants and shops. Easy walk to the lake and old town. Our host, Valérie, was kind and very helpful. We highly recommend this cute apartment!

Valerie ensured that the apartment was perfectly set-up for us, answered questions we asked in advance and kindly arranged transport to and from Geneva airport. The apartment location is ideal for enjoying the old part of Annecy and for lake walks or swims. The old town markets (3x per week) are less than 5-minutes walk from the apartment and local amenities are very convenient. We would love to return one day as this (very attractively decorated) apartment has everything we like for simple, self-catering holidays. Thank-you, Valerie (and your parents) for everything.

The flat is really well appointed and the location is excellent. Parking was initially tricky but we paid approx £10 a night to have the car in a nearby car park (La Poste). This was worth it. Annecy is a busy and noisy city but we felt the flat on the 4th floor protected us from most of the noise- and thank goodness for the lift!! We loved Annecy itself and found plenty of places to eat- it is very busy at weekends but quieter during the week, especially in the evenings once the coach parties disappear. A drive round the loch (I’m Scottish!) was great- especially Talloires. We enjoyed visiting the Gorges du Fier, Montrottier Castle, Aix-les-Bains and the brilliant Secret Gardens at Vaulx. There was loads to do even without leaving Annecy. Valerie is a warm and friendly hostess and her flat is fantastic.

Lovely, relaxing stay at Annecy

The apartment was well appointed and spotless, and the kitchen easy to use. A combination of gloriously fresh air, relaxing city and excellent large bed meant that we both slept especially well. The centre-ville location meant that the apartment was easy to get to from the railway station, ideal for visitors such as ourselves who had travelled by TGV from Paris. It was our first visit to Annecy and the place and its surroundings are a delight, particularly the clear water of the lac. For your dejeuner, slightly off the tourist track, the Bistro du Rhone is a must. Thank you, Valerie, for the use of such an excellent holiday base.

A very nice, well-equipped, apartment in a very central location in Annecy, very close to the railway station, the old part of town and the lake, and to shops. The only drawback for us was the difficulty finding a carpark in the evenings for our rental car - eventually we did but it took some perseverance. Great communication from Valerie who made our arrival easy.

While this property was very difficult to find if arriving by car, it was the perfect location for walking. My advice is come by train. The apartment is well equipped with the exception of a proper coffee maker (there was one of those pod things) and no hairdryer (however it was described as such). Very comfortable and homey. Super clean and great location in Annecy.

I can't say anything about the apartment and the town of Annecy except - Magnifique ! I have traveled to many places in the world but can honestly say I felt at home. This was important because I traveled alone. The gentleman that let me in was so accommodating and just plain nice (even the neighbors I met were friendly). The apartment is centrally located to shops, restaurants, supermarket, post office, old town and lake, and even the bus/train station! Trips to Geneve and Lyon were easy and enjoyable rides. Although I highly recommend visiting Annecy and renting Valerie's apartment (it was special), a part of me would like to keep it all a secret and all to myself!!!

Petit séjour de 5 jours, l'appartement était très propre à notre arrivée (petites tasse et sachets de café à disposition, super après une longue route !) Valérie et son mari son disponible et arrangeant pour l'horaire d'arrivée ou de départ. L'appartement est situé dans le centre ville ce qui permet d'avoir accès à tout à seulement quelques minutes de marche (commerces, les jolies ruelles du vieux Annecy et surtout le lac à moins 10min de marches !). Je recommande vivement car le rapport qualité prix est non négligeable ! Merci pour votre accueil. Leïla.

Très bon emplacement , on a la chance de profiter des quartiers animés sans utiliser la voiture ! L appartement est dans une résidence calme et il est décoré avec goût.propre. Franchement, le charme y est, c'est étonnamment calme pour un emplacement si central. La vieille ville est si proche qu'on y va très facilement, on n'hésite pas à sortir et ressortir. Il y a dans l'appartement tout ce dont on a besoin. On est bien accueillis cela fait plaisir.

Petit appartement idéalement situé à 2 pas de la gare, de la vieille ville, des commodités (supérettes, office du tourisme, marché, ...) et 5 minutes à pieds du lac. Logement confortable et fonctionnel. Il y a tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin (même un caddie pour les courses !). Accueil très chaleureux de Francis qui est d'une grande gentillesse (ne changez rien !!!). Réactivité de Valérie qui a su s'adapter à nos petits soucis de transport. Valérie nous gardons votre adresse pour un prochain séjour dans votre belle région.

L'appartement est très bien, la décoration, l'espace, propreté moyenne dans la douche, les rues en bas, les parkings à proximité (payants prévoir budget parking) supérettes en tous genres, vieil annecy, supers restaurants ville magnifique, gens sympathiques, paysages incroyables, gastronomie inoubliable etc... les moins : assez bruyant (rue et voisin du dessus) à déconseiller aux insomniaques, lit deux places à deux matelas séparés... et la remise des clés à 19h le premier jour, alors qu'on s'étaient dépêchés le matin pour être à l'heure à 16h.. Alors on nous a dit 18h30 en route du coup on a trainé, mais on a encore attendu dans le froid une demi heure... Un peu dur pour une arrivée "voyage de noces". Il faut respecter les heures de remise des clés c'est important pour les vacanciers. Evidemment pas de geste commercial, c'est la première fois que j'en demande un et même pas une réponse !!!! Dommage. C'était si bien tout le reste. Donc je conseille de bien se renseigner sur l'heure de remise des clés avant d'y aller ! Mais allez y quand même.

Nuestra estancia en Annecy muy agradable, con una temperatura espectacular. Hemos disfrutado sobre todo, de los paseos en bici y barco por el lago y por el casco antiguo de la ciudad, por cierto, precioso y una gastronomía envidiable. Los días de mercado los martes, viernes y domingos y se puede encontrar productos típicos de la zona de una calidad estupenda. En resumen, nos ha encantado. Quién sabe quizás volvamos pronto.
