Absolute peace and quiet in the heart of the picturesque quarters of the old town

We had a great time at comfortable apartment. It's also really convenient as it's near the Bonlieu during Annecy Film Festival. It’s quieter than I expected despite being among restaurants. I would like to come back in the near future. Thank you!

Great location for visit to Annecy, central to everthing

All the good restaurants are just under the apartment building! Farmers market is just outside of the front door! Close to the station too. It’s a perfect vacation apartment! Thank you!

The location was fantastic! Our week exploring the area was perfect. Being only footsteps away from markets, great food and shopping. The flat was well equipped and clean. Highly recommend!

Nice little apartment up stairs,. Above restaurants and ahops in old town. It had everything that we needed from kitchenette washing machine dishwasher. We thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay, the location is outstanding.

Lovely apartment that met our expectations. The location is perfect for exploring the old town, particularly on market days. The only issue was the construction going on outside the balcony, which made this space difficult to use even on Sunday, with work continuing up to 7pm

We had a very good stay in this apartment. Even during very hot days, it was not too hot, we think, due to the thick old walls. It was great to have a dishwasher and a washing machine. The number of cups is modest however. Very good location in the old city. Good for those who come by train, but if you come by car, you best park in St. Claire Parking and then move your luggage on foot to the apartment because it is in a pedestrian zone. Mrs. Martin was very kind and helpful. The garden is no more like shown on the pictures as the neighbours have built a fish pond and another 'basin' is under construction (work only on Saturdays). Birds and tranquility are still there. We totally recommend the apartment!

Property is located in the old town with restaurants and shops within steps of the door. Less than ten minute walk from the train station. We tried to get there relying on memory of the map directions and were turned around in the old town. But even though we were about 15 minutes later than expected arriving at the apartment, Isabelle graciously greeted us. She provided information about the apartment and showed us a virtual library of maps and brochures containing things to do in and around Annecy. Property was very clean and just as pictured in the listing. Thank you Isabelle.

The apartment is a special and peaceful place in the middle of the Old Town. I stayed for a month here and had everything I needed. The location is perfect just next to the shops and restaurants in a beautiful walking street. The apartment has everything you need and the balcony with the view of a beautiful calm garden is a perfect balance. I recommend it.

Annecy was a beautiful and restful 4 day stay for me. Friendly folks, a wonderful Tuesday market, lakeside Mountain View’s, and enchanting strolls are great memories. The apartment is one level above the street, clean with a balcony looking over a woodsy courtyard. Compared to the other flats I’ve rented over the years the personal furnishings, such as better towels, soap and cleaning products are minimal and could be improved. Communication with Isabelle and her associate was easy and helpful. This unit, and it’s location would get 5 stars with very little home style added!

Enjoyed my stay in the Cote Jardin. Isabelle and Nicholas were available for help when needed. Thank you to both of you. The apartment had everything to make the stay a comfortable one in Annecy. Even a place to hang washing (smalls) on the balcony. My review title says it all. A calming place to come back to, after long walks discovering the beautiful town. Enjoyed our recent stay in Annecy at Isabelle's apartment. The apartment was clean and the location is fantastic. There are some compromises, but the location and quality goes a long way to making up for these and I would happily recommend it. Positives: Location couldn't be better. Straight into the old town, beautiful little streets and some fantastic options for breakfast (giant pain aux raisins!) and also for dinner as this area comes to life. Even in late September, it's evidently worth booking a table. Space is good. It's a studio apartment in a small location but it's surprisingly spacious and well lit. I'd say it's larger than the photos suggest. The balcony is nice to sit out on. Comfortable bed, which is probably the most important thing when on holiday! Isabelle is a good owner. There are some things which could be better, but Isabelle was eager to help and when we had a problem having run out of hot water (small tank), she found a solution and contacted us so we could override the system. Considerations: Quite noisy - not from the street (you're well shielded from this), but from neighbouring apartments. You hear every movement from the people upstairs and other neighbours as they come into the building. Something to be aware of but not a deal breaker - it's an old building. Limited access - we had to be very specific on our arrival time to gain access. Had to be between 2pm and 4pm, at a pre-agreed time. It suited us to arrive early, but would have been good to know this up front. Worth making contact early if you're travelling a distance. Maybe a key box solution might be good? Cleaning - the apartment is really clean and I always leave places as tidy as I find them. That said, I was surprised that we HAD to clean the apartment (hoover, clean kitchen, clean bathroom) or be charged an additional 50 Euros. I'm happy with this model, I just think it should be positioned as part of the booking so you're not surprised. Overall, I really enjoyed Annecy and my staying in this apartment.

Isabelle was excellent in communicating prior to our stay and met us promptly at the agreed time. Apartment is in middle of the old town - you literally open your door to everything you want - bakery, restaurants, cafe, bars, markets, tour bookings - superb spot. Even so, the apartment is very quiet as it opens out to a back garden and other apartment balconies. A very relaxed and pretty outlook for aperitif! The lake and its attractions are a short walk away, with boat trips, bike hire and walking pathes all in a close proximity. The apartment is perfect for one or two guests for a short stay. The kitchen is well equipped and you can easily prepare a meal. The bathroom is on the small side however is modern well lit and has a shower and bath. We enjoyed our stay and loved Annecy.

When we arrived we were told we needed to thoroughly clean the apartment including stripping the beds or pay 50 euro.That is a first for me. The bathroom was very small and the towels were worn, stiff and felt like sandpaper. There was no fan. The furniture was not comfortable to sit on and no suitable table to eat on. The back door did not lock and the owner knew about it but did not tell us. A security risk. The garden view from the small balcony was pretty but very loud at night. I would not recommend this studio and regret staying there. It affected the enjoyment of our trip.

We really enjoyed our stay in this bright ,spacious apartment. We had everything we needed. It was great being in the centre of Annecy with its bustling little streets and yet so quiet on the balcony overlooking the garden. The market was wonderful and there are lots of little restraunts just outside the door! We would recommend Poivre, which was tradional French and very good value for money!

Participated in the 2018 Étape du Tour and stayed at Isabelle’s studio appartment. The minute I walked into the appartment I already felt at home as it had everything I needed and the appartment was super clean. I also really enjoyed the balcony. The location is ideal as it is walking distance to various restaurants, grocery store and of course the fabulous lake. The only issue I had was I was not able to connect to the WiFi using the code that had been provided.

We recently spent 8 nights here which we thoroughly enjoyed. We particularly liked the peaceful balcony overlooking the beautiful private gardens & when we were sitting out there we found it difficult to believe that we were actually in the middle of the vibrant old town with all of its cafes, bars, restaurants & markets just steps from the front door. On arrival the apartment was very clean ( be aware that you are expected to leave it in this condition or pay an additional 50 euros for end of let cleaning ) Overall it was tastefully furnished very well equipped & everything functioned perfectly. Our only criticism was the lack of comfortable seating which we are sure could be easily remedied & which would then in our opinion warrant a 5 Star Rating..

We loved our 5 days in Cote Jardin. Isabelle was a delight to work with, both before our arrival and during our stay. The apartment is clean and cheerful. The best part to us was the fact that its location was right in the middle of the old town and yet because it faced the large garden to the back of the building we heard no street noise at all. Annecy itself is a lovely town, especially for walkers like us. From the apartment we could either follow the paths along the canals for a woodsy walk or head to the lake for long walks with gorgeous mountain views. Isabelle's apartment is a spot I would highly recommend to friends and hope to return to again myself.

Isabelle's flat is wonderful! Having a green space to come home to after being in the crowds of Annecy was so nice. Very unique as it is in the middle of the old town. Very light and airy! Enjoyed the attention to detail! Very relaxing! Fantastic!

We really enjoyed our stay in Annecy. The apartment was very well equipped and close to great restaurants, and the lake. Superb food market three times weekly during our stay. Would stay here again.

We absolutely adored this property. Madame Martin was friendly, informative and helpful. Studio is well equipped, kitchen has all mod cons from fridge, hob, micro, dishwasher, washing machine to kettle , toaster, coffee maker and pretty crockery and glasses. Even champagne flutes which was a plus as it was my birthday during my stay. Living area is spacious , bed very comfortable and flat screen tv if you can tear yourself away from the cute balcony overlooking a glorious garden. Everything and everywhere in the studio is spotless. Big plus is thick walls of this old building lead to the studio being cool. Out the door and you are in the thick of things. Old medieval streets, great restaurants and bars and an excellent market . Take a short walk and you arrive at the lake with gorgeous gardens where you can walk , jog or cycle. Plenty of water based entertainment too. This studio is an amazing oasis in the medieval centre of annecy and not to be missed. We almost feel like keeping it a secret so it will be available for our return later in the year.

Lovely studio in a great location on the main pedestrianised street of the old town. The outlook over the garden is pretty and waking to birdsong was a treat. Small but has everything you need. Isabelle was very easy to deal with and all arrangements were smooth. I do speak soem French though.

The apartment was decorated beautifully and had all the modern conveniences. Our only problem was that the contract was in French only (we are English speaking), and we didn't realize until we got there that we were expected to clean the apartment thoroughly (just the way we entered it). If I had known this, I would have chosen another place, since we are on vacation and I didn't want to spend several hours cleaning. Other than that, it was a lovely stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Isabelle's studio apartment in Annecy. The apartment was exactly as it was described and pictured on the website. It is very good value, and the size and location of the apartment suited our needs completely. The location itself is excellent within the old town. It is so quiet in the apartment which has a lovely balcony overlooking some gardens, so you can't quite believe it when you leave to enter the street on the other side which is quite noisy and bustling. We were able to eat in on most of our evenings and sit out on the balcony which was lovely. I'd definitely recommend this apartment for couples. It is really great value.
