Located 10 minutes from the wine route. Near Colmar, Kaysersberg (13 km) elected favorite village of the French in 2017, Ribeauvillé, Riquewhir and the Lac Blanc ski slopes.

This pleasant house gave us a wonderful week of rest. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The area has numerous opportunities for short and long walks through forests and over the mountains, but we mainly stayed on the terrace, enjoying the view that changed every half hour, and read books. We saw a deer walking, and heard the buzzards calling. The nearest supermarket at Orbey offers delicious marinated prawns, and in the nearby village of Hachimette we bought wonderful regional products (duck pie!).
There are 3 roads towards the house. The shortest one, from Ammerschwir, is narrow and has many bends and little road marking; it was too scary for me. There is a second road, from Ammerschwir via Les Trois Epis, which is much better. And the third road, via Kaysersberg and Orbey, is the longest and most comfortable one.
