I hate to write a negative review, as this was a beautiful and charming gite, but the dampness and mustiness within was not good for my lungs and I had no choice but to leave two days early. I was hoping a fire in the hearth would warm the place up, but the matches and wood were damp, and even with a provided fire starter, I had to rip apart a paperback I was reading to provide enough kindling to keep it going. If you don't have asthma and are used to camping, this will be a fantastic place. I was there in early June and I think with some Summer sun, it would have been better. Just bad timing on my part.
