Les Oiseaux du Fiouzaire

My girlfriend loved the week we spent in one of the small bungalows that make up the Ferme de Fiouzaire. The «Ferme de Fiouzaire » is a hilltop domain overlooking the medieval town of L’Isle-Jourdain, a half hour to the west of Toulouse by car and train, but centuries away in mental space. When you take the road winding up to the villa from the train station a sign warns that it is a dead end, but in fact you soon join the Way to Saint James of Compostello, which continues as a path a few hundred meters after pavement ends past the driveway leading to the Ferme. We stayed in one of the small bungalows surrounding the main house and pool. Our bungalow had a double bed on the ground floor, and some smaller beds appropriate for children in a mezzanine above. The kitchen was well equipped with both utensils and basic pantry items — coffee, olive oils, spices. We cooked all our meals and ate on our lovely shaded patio with barbecue and two tables save for one magnificent lunch we ate at the two star Michelin Restaurant, aptly named Le Puits de Saint Jacques (Saint James’ Well) in Pujaurdan, which is a 40 minute walk on the camino, or a 20 minute drive on main roads Our bungalow shared a laundry (free, no coins or tokens) with two adjacent units, but otherwise we had our own private space. Très au calme à proximité des commerces a refaire

Les gites sont idéalement situés. au calme mais en même temps proche du centre de l'isle Jourdain ce qui est un luxe. Bien équipé nous avons manqué de rien. Seul ou à plusieurs. repos ou pieds à terre il y en a pour tous les gouts. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour avec nos enfants qui n'ont qu'une envie c'est d'y retourner. et nous aussi :)

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine à la ferme de Julia et Peter. L'endroit est calme, en pleine nature. Le logement est bien tenu. Il y a poules et moutons sur ce site très bucolique. La piscine est chouette. Julia et Peter sont accueillants et font tout leur possible pour que leurs hôtes passent de bonnes vacances.
