The small Balagne train runs through the village and takes you to all the beaches in the area between Calvi and Ile Rousse or further afield to Bastia, Corte and Ajaccio.
You will find small local shops (mini market, bakery, restaurant, hairdresser) in Cocody Village and also restaurant, saladerie, café, ice cream parlor, butcher's shop, bakery, supermarket, newsagent, hairdresser, car-rental service station and rental boats on the marina of Sant Ambroggio.
For your activities you will find a dive school on the port, tennis courts for rent, petanque, boat rental, car rental in the village.
The communal pool is available for free in July and August.
For lovers of the beach there is the beach of Sant Ambroggio, the coves of the nature reserve Spano 2km, the beach of Algajola (known for surfing and sailing) 3km and other beaches all along between Cavi and Ile Rousse.
Sant Ambroggio is also ideal for walks and hikes in the surroundings or in the mountain, the famous hiking trail, the GR 20 begins in Calenzana about 15km from Sant Ambroggio.
If you love nature you can walk in the forest of Bonifatu 20 minutes by car or swim in natural pools of the river Fango 45 minutes.
