Everything about this property was excellent! The location is perfect. We took the boat to centre-ville from across the road. There are beaches either side of the port and restaurants everywhere. A fabulous restaurant we found in Madrague de Montredon called Au Bord de l’eau is a reasonable walk ( or electric scooter ride) away. And once inside the property you have total peace and privacy with your own garden area. The property had everything we needed and we really couldn’t speak highly enough. The hosts, Olivier and family are very relaxed and helpful. If we are planning a trip to Marseille in the future , it’s the first place I would check for availability. Top marks

The property is just as represented or better. The apartment is on the lower level of a larger home. We were welcomed with fresh fruit, warm cake, chilled wine and coffee capsules for the stay. Olivier could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped. Strong AC - critical during the heatwave we experienced. The place is right across from the port but quiet and private. There’s a booklet with information about excursions. Parking is inside the property, and cleaning was included at the end. Could not have asked for more!

The accommodation is perfectly located to explore the Marseille area. It is far enough away from the busy city to be able to relax, but is across the road from the ferry port which has regular ferries into Vieux Port. It is also a very short ferry or drive into the beautiful Calanques. The property itself is modern and well presented. It feels very secure, with a locked gate into the property and an alarm if required. We took our 8 month old daughter and Olivier and Ingrid were very accommodating, providing everything we needed such as a high chair and bath etc. The welcome gifts were also very kind and make you feel welcome in a way you don't get from a hotel etc. We would thoroughly recommend staying here if you visit Marseille. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thanks again Jeremy, Katie and Chloe

We stayed here with our two children and loved it. The apartment has all modern amenities and is close to the beach, shops, parks and restaurants. Ingrid and Olivier were excellent hosts, easy to contact if we needed anything. The welcome pack was amazing: cake, wine, fresh fruit, coffee/tea and chocolates. Absolutely recommend; we would stay there again.

Ingrid and Olivier are great hosts and so Ingrid's mother, that was there to welcome us. The flat is quite nice and the air conditioner on each bedroom and living rooms are essential to scape a bit the heat of summer :-) I suggest to add on the kitchen a schissors and better knives. Other than that, it's all above our expectation. The inside drive way for our 2 cars was very much appreciated as well. Thanks again and see u next time hopefully!

The apartment is well located at the seafront of Marseille. It ia well equipped with modern and stylish interior. We were a family with two teens and had space enough. The hosts were very friendly. Place for parking ist directly at the house. A nice garden can be used. The flat was very clean. There was no reason for criticism!

We have had 16 great days here in Marseille. The apartment was really nice and we were grateful for fruit, cake and wine that was here for us on arrival. It's an ideal location for sightseeing, we went on many trips to Aix-en-Provence, Arles, Marseille town centre, Toulon and many more. Gorges du Verdon was fun for the whole family and we enjoyed hiking in the Sormiou calanque, great views! The beach in Pointe Rouge is nice for both swimming and sunbathing. The French food is great and we can recommend nearby restaurants such as L'escale at the beach, Le Siam (200 metres left of the apartment) and the Lebanese restaurant in the centre. Very friendly people. The hosts of the apartment are very nice and provided lots of information about what to do in the area, in addition to providing an apartment with everything you need for your holiday, such as towels, bedding and toiletries, so all you need to bring is your suitcase. Very much recommended!

Très belle location, très confort avec tout le nécessaire. Vraiment à l'abri de tout vis-à-vis, on peut profiter du jardin terrasse du petit déjeuner au dîner. Bien situé, citadin, à proximité de tout. La région est magnifique, proche Aubagne Cassis calanques de sormiou... et propriétaires dispo même à distance, très bienveillants, juste parfait, c'est rare et quand ça l'est il faut le souligner.

Logement très agréable avec sa terrasse et son jardin. L'intérieur est propre et la literie de qualité. La clim a été très appréciée. Un grand merci pour les cadeaux de bienvenue et pour les prestations (ménage, draps, serviettes, papier toilette, lessive, Pastilles de lave vaisselle etc) La proximité avec le port et 2 plages a été un vrai plus, nous n'avons pas eu besoin de prendre la voiture pour nous rendre sur le vieux port ou pour emmener nos filles à la plage. Si nous avions un seul bémol ce serait que le petit jardin n'est pas cloturé. L'accès à la route est fermé par un grand portail mais il faut garder une certaine vigilance au cas où les propriétaires l'ouvriraient pour garer leur véhicule. Nous vous recommandons sans hésiter ce logement, nous avons passé un magnifique séjour et le logement a participé à ce que tout soit parfait.

De l’annonce à la réception des clés à l’arrivée puis au départ ce matin, les propriétaires ont été très attentifs et disponibles et surtout accueillants. L’appartement correspondaient aux photos et était propre. J’ai été accueillie par un panier de fruits, une bouteille d’un bon rosé et d’un gâteau sorti du four. Mes enfants et moi même avons été ravis. Le jardin et la terrasse étaient agréables avec ses chaises longues et sa petite table, parfaite pour les petit déjeuner à l’extérieur. Équipée par tout l’électroménager nécessaire, tout était top. Linges de maison! Produits ménager! Tout y était! Et ce n’est pas négligeable! L’appartement est très bien situé, dans un quartier calme avec les bus, et le ferry ( très rapide) pour se déplacer vers le vieux port! Et tout à portée de main….. Le seul hic! Parce qu’il y en a, c’est de ne pas l’avoir louer pour plus longtemps! N’hésitez pas! Vous n’allez pas être déçus !

La maison est idéalement placée sur la pointe rouge pour se rendre au club. Nous avons avons été parfaitement reçu avec une corbeille de fruit et un gateau qui sortait du four. La maison est parfaitement équipée et le jardin au dimension idéale est très pratique pour faire sécher l'équuipement. Nous recommandons ce logement pour vos séjours de plongée à la pointe rouge.

Aufgrund familiärer Verhältnisse fahren wir seit 20 Jahren nach Marseille. Ich würde also behaupten Marseille gut zu kennen. Die Wohnung liegt perfekt, da sie kurze Wege zum Strand und diversen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bietet. Das Bootshuttle (insbesondere zum alten Hafen) fährt jede Stunde und spart mit 5 Euro pro Fahrt Zeit, Geld und Nerven. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht und ich würde sie im gehobenen Niveau sehen. Insbesondere der Garten bietet für kleinere Kinder in der Mittagssonne einen schönen Ort zum spielen. Die Vermieter sind seit Jahren sehr nett und zuvorkommend, ohne in irgendeiner Form aufdringlich zu wirken. Wir werden weiterhin in dieser Unterkunft übernachten.

Wir haben einen wirklich wunderschönen Urlaub in der Ferienwohnung von Fam. Backes verbracht! Das Appartement ist hell, freundlich und modern ausgestattet und macht schon beim Betreten einen gepflegten und sauberen Eindruck. Die Ausstattung lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Zur Begrüßung gab es eine gekühlte Flasche Roséwein, eine Schale mit frischem Obst, Kaffeekapseln und einen selbst gebackenen Kuchen! Die Lage im Hafen von Pointe Rouge ist perfekt und alle wichtigen Dinge, wie z.B. Bushaltestelle, Strand, Supermarkt und viele Restaurants sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Ingrid und Olivier haben sich mit dem Exposé in unterschiedlichen Sprachen sehr viel Mühe gegeben, um wichtige Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Buslinien und Restaurants aufzulisten und zu beschreiben. Im Garten lädt eine große Terasse zum Verweilen ein... Olivier Backes war stets sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und er spricht ausgezeichnet Englisch, sodass alle Fragen geklärt werden konnten. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen! Und wir werden wie versprochen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen... Vielen Dank und liebe Grüße

Si vous désirez un emplacement à deux pas de la mer et de la ville, des calanques et des transports en commun, c'est l'endroit parfait. C'est un appartement génial avec deux chambres et toutes les commodités. Olivier & Ingrid sont des excellents hôtes et très à l'écoute de nos besoins. Nous avons été reçu avec quelques petites attentions pour démarrer notre séjour. Je le recommande fortement! Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à Marseille! Et nous espérons y revenir très vite.

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances. La maison est très bien située à la pointe Rouge, très propre et très agréable. Les propriétaires nous ont accueilli avec un délicieux gâteau et il ya plein de petites attentions dans l'appartement (corbeille de fruits,...) qui rendent le séjour très sympathique La literie est de bonne qualité. Le petit jardin privé est un vrai plus pour garer les vélos rapidement. Nous recommandons cette location et reviendrons sans hésiter pour nos prochaines vacances à Marseille.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette maison idéalement placée vers le parc national des calanques avec le port de Pointe-rouge, les plages du Sud de Marseille et les calanques à proximité. (en voiture, en bateau ou à pied). Le logement est très fonctionnel et très calme et parfaitement équipé. Nous avons aussi été très bien accueillis. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

J'ai loué cet appartement en mode salle de formation pour travailler avec un groupe de 10 personnes. la disposition de la salle était parfaite. Tout était équipé avec chaises, tables, paperboard, vidéo projecteur et deux sous commissions pour les travaux en sous groupe. Il était facile de déjeuner en groupe le midi à des restaurants de proximité immédiate à pied. La salle est bien située, il est facile de se garer ou de venir en transports en commun.

La qualité de l'accueil, l'adaptation de nos horaires d'arrivée et de départ à nos contraintes, la propreté et la fonctionnalité du logement, l'exhaustivité des moyens mis à disposition tant pour la cuisine que pour l'entretien personnel et la distraction montrent combien les propriétaires ont le souci du bien-être de leurs locataires dans le moindre détail . Nous recommandons donc très très chaleureusement cette location et y reviendrons avec beaucoup de plaisir, d'autant qu'elle est située dans l'agréable quartier de Pointe Rouge où nous avions loué à plusieurs reprises d'autres logements sans avoir bénéficié d'une telle qualité

J'ai "adoré" l'appartement, très joliment décoré, de belles couleurs vives, pas un meuble encombrant, chaque chose est bien réfléchie ce qui procure un énorme confort. Les serviettes en tous genres ainsi que les draps de lit sont fournis et les literies sont très confortables. Magnifique jardin et jolie terrasse tout cela face (juste traverser la rue) à la mer! Nous sommes accueillis par un jeune couple très charmant ...je conseille cette adresse clairement!
