Nestled in the woods, in the heart of a property of 7 ha., This former silkworm of the seventeenth century. all stone, fully restored, will seduce lovers of nature (and trees!) eager to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and to relax in a quiet environment (just birds singing and in summer cicadas) and relaxing.
Composed of 2 dwellings:
The main house, which offers spacious, has two rooms in a row, one with a double bed and the other a single bed, which can accommodate a cot if necessary.
A large bathroom with 2 sinks, bath and toilet.
In the mezzanine (25 m2), overlooking the living room, 2 twin beds and a reading area with library.
A spacious kitchen (25 m2), well equipped.
A very large living room with fireplace, library, TV corner.
Beams visible throughout the house and stone floor (bars) in the living room and 2 bedrooms on the ground floor.
A beautiful and large terrace with a nice view on wide accols (terraces with dry stone walls) planted with olive trees and other beautiful trees (cedar, arbutus, lime, mimosa ...), as well as fruit trees (cherry tree , plum trees, fig trees ...).
An appendix (small stone house, the Mazet), one bedroom with double bed and a sofa bed, s. bath, shower, toilet.
Air conditioning in the master bedroom and the guest house.
The two houses (main house and annex) as well as the swimming pool and the 7 ha. of the property are for your exclusive use.
The nearest neighbor (the owner) is 1 km away.
The village of St Paul the Younger is 10 min. by car.
Banne is 10 minutes away. by car (or 15 minutes on foot, via an ancient Roman road).
For your sports or leisure, a swimming pool (5x10 m, with pool shower) 4 sunbeds and 2 deckchairs, a bowling green and badminton in the pine forest, a ping-pong table. Walks from the house on small trails with beautiful views in a private forest of 20 ha .. If you want to walk more, you can also walk from the property PR or GR hiking trails and mountain bike circuits. Possibility of jogging without leaving the property.
To relax, a double hammock under the lime trees and a simple in the cedar.
The pretty little medieval village of Banne (labeled "village of character") is 15 minutes walk via an ancient Roman road. To discover also other charming villages (Naves, Labeaume, Balazuc ...).
You can stroll in the small weekly markets around the area offering many local products (goat cheese, charcuterie ...) and handicrafts (wood, basketry, pottery ...). The market Vans (20 minutes drive from the farmhouse) is one of the most typical.
Nearby, nice spots to swim in rivers (L'Abeau, Ganière, Chassezac ...).
And many recreational activities: descent of Chassezac and Ardèche by canoe or raft, canyoning, climbing, paragliding ...
The cave Cocalière (one of the 3 most beautiful caves in France) is 15 minutes by car.
The Chauvet cave and the Aven d'Orgnac 45/50 minutes.
