About this farm stay rental
The site combines the proximity of all amenities and a very quiet preserved environment. Located 3 km from the lively market town of Les Vans, the rental is part of a large independent Mas, former silk farm of the 19th century.
It is a beautiful renovation in visible stones and traditional lime plaster, which was designed and produced by architect.
It includes 2 lodgings each consisting of a bedroom and a large independent mezzanine, a bathroom and an independent toilet, a kitchen area, a dining room, the largest of which allows to welcome all tenants for meals.
On the ground floor, cellars and shelters are available.
Outside, it is a large wooded property, with terraced meadows, a large private swimming pool (4.5mx9.5mx 1.45m) bordered by riprap with sunbathing, arbor, garden furniture and barbecue, badminton, table tennis, pétanque, ... Many swimming possibilities, canoeing / kayaking (Chassezac, Ardèche, Baume, Drobie, Sure, ...), canyoning (Haut Chassezac), fishing (Montselgues, mountain rivers, ...).
On the GR44, it is the ideal starting point for your hikes in the Cévennes National Park and the Regional Park of the Monts d'Ardèche. You will also be able to visit in addition to the Vans of the picturesque villages (Naves, Banne, Brahic, Thines, Payzac, ...), superb caves (Cocalière, Aven d'Orgnac, Baume Batie, resurgence, ...). And sites unique (Bois de Paiolive, ...) and since 2015, the Pont d'Arc Cave, discovery of the first masterpiece of humanity dated to - 36,000 years ... (cave decorated with Pont d'Arc - Chauvet cave in Vallon Pont d'Arc).

Beautiful old farmhouse in a lovely setting with two nicely furnished flats, great BBQ, stunning pool, and interesting walks nearby. A very special stay!
