Well away from the road, with steps down to a secluded inlet. No immediate beach, but you can walk over stones and into the water - or launch one of the two canoes provided with the property. Or there is a great beach just 2 hundred yards away.
The house is beautifully decorated and equipped to a high standard. There are lots of shady places to eat or read, sunbathing on the (artificial) grass in the garden or on the decking. In a hot July, we lived outside the whole time.
A good boulangerie is about 3-400 yards away, and also a local butchers, selling everything. Supermarket about a 5 minute drive. You could just about manage without a car.
We did not try the smart nearest restaurant , but there were others a 15 minute walk towards Isolella.
Only two downsides -a single toilet and single bathroom is fine for a family group, but would have been a nuisance for three couples. And the house is semi-detached; we had one disturbed night when there was a party next door. But otherwise noise not a problem at all.
