About this house rental

Newly remodeled, air conditioned, 2 bedroom/ 1 bath main beach house (including living room, kitchen, bathroom, dining room and hallway) and 1 bedroom/1 bath air conditioned guest suite. Both houses are included together as one rental. The entire property sleeps 8 and is professionally designed for our guests. Enjoy a cool, refreshing drink on the front porch, dine al fresco in your own private, secluded back yard patio with outdoor dining set and stainless barbeque and sunning deck. Interior designer meticulously designed every detail, from the top of the line memory foam mattresses, luxury sheets, stainless steel appliances and quartz counter tops in the kitchen, leather furniture, rock showers and beach inspired decor. The Seagull House also includes a well-appointed, fully stocked kitchen, wi--fi, wireless printer, flat screen televisions in each bedroom and living room, laundry facilities, fresh ocean breezes with ceiling fans in all bedrooms and living room and screen doors, games, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, wagon, sand toys, books, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, blow dryers, iron and ironing board, high chair, pack-n-play baby bed, stroller, car seats and ample driveway parking for up to 4 cars. Stroll 3 blocks down the street to Sail Bay, Fanuel Street Park (with a playground, bathrooms and showers) and the boardwalk and 6 blocks to the ocean. Walk a few blocks north to Garnet Street to a myriad of restaurants, bars, grocery stores and the library. We have thought of everything so you don't have to. We want to make your stay in San Diego as memorable as possible!

I rented this house to host extended family with a new baby here. It was as perfect the pictures.! great amenities and supplies for all ages. The house is renovated and meticulous. Holly greeted us when we arrived and was wonderful. The set up with the little guest unit is perfect for extended family who may want a little more privacy or go to bed earlier or a little later than the rest. Great location would highly recommend this property. !

Short walk for my kids to the bay. Best shells they have found yet in s.c. kitchen was easy to navigate, light switch lables and other details that made the stay easy and not stressful. Distance between rooms was nice to keep snoring noise to a minimum. Love the queit neighborhood.

We arrived on August 28 2025 and was greeted by our host, Holly. She showed us around her beautiful home and made us feel very comfortable right off the bat.The home is beautiful, cozy, and tastefully decorated.We had everything we needed. The home is only about a 15 minute walk to the beach, and is located in a nice neighborhood.We enjoyed sitting on the front porch drinking coffee in the morning watching all the friendly people walk by with all their cute dogs, going to the beach, eating at great restaurants, spending time with family, and celebrating my nephew’s wedding.We will definitely return to this beautiful home next time we plan a trip to San Diego.Thank you again Holly and Dan for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.Tommy and Ellen

Wanted a weekend to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from college in her favorite city.The Seagull House was perfect! Super clean and comfortable. We loved the decor and the amount of space it provided. Walked to Starbucks every morning we were there, BBQ’d and enjoyed meals with family. Perfectly stocked with everything you’ll need, from dining to beach trips! Holly was the perfect host. Made check-in super easy. Will definitely stay here again.

If you think you’ll need it during your stay, it’s here! They truly thought of everything, making our visit incredibly comfortable. From shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in every shower to dish soap, laundry detergent, and even coffee for the first morning — they had it all covered. They also provided beach towels, toys, and a wagon, which made our trip even easier. Communication was effortless, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. If we could give 10 stars, we absolutely would!

My son graduated from Marine Corps boot camp, and we brought the whole family out to stay for the graduation. The house was wonderful, we all had plenty of space, the beds were amazing! We enjoyed the well-stocked game cabinet, the walk to the beach was delightful, the neighborhood was very quiet and the scenery great! we truly had the trip of a lifetime and I would recommend The Seagull House to all my friends. Six adults, no one was crowded and we all had a wonderful time.

Holly was a great friendly host, and has lots of helpful info and local tips. The house was spacious, clean, and organized, and had all of your basic needs for preparing coffee and breakfasts and getting ready in general. It’s nice to have the private outdoor space too! Beds were comfortable and house is in a pretty quiet and safe area. It’s also conveniently located to local attractions, stores, and beaches. The bay was a quick walk and had a great kids park and the beach toys in the shed were perfect for our toddler! Our only con was that the third bedroom and second bathroom in the detached building is right up against the neighboring tenant’s parking space and he has a truck with loud modified muffler. We could hear him speaking inside or outside of his home from our room (and vice versa I assume), and starting the truck woke anyone sleeping there at the time and caused the entire wall (and items on shelves) to shake. We ended up mostly using the detached space just for getting ready. Obviously this is out of the host’s control, and may not be the case in the future! Overall it was a great location and fun stay with plenty to explore!

We hosted a small family reunion type event in San Diego where the Seagull House was the main gathering spot. It was perfect! The indoor open floor plan served us well. The outdoor place was very nice also. I lot more space than I expected! Not to mentioned the large driveway...Location, Location, Location! I highly recommend this as VRBO super home.

Our stay at the Seagull House was absolutely perfect! My wife and I, and our two adult daughters used this beautifully designed beach house as home base on our visit to SD for a family wedding. It is obvious that the owners put a lot of effort and care into this vacation home, as everything was well stocked and attended to. We rented a car but it sat in the driveway most of the trip because we found ourselves walking to the beach and to meals. We have family in SD and will definitely hope to rent the Seagull House on our next trip. Highly recommend!!

We stayed here for a long weekend and it was perfect. The location is in walking distance to both Mission Bay and Mission Beach. There were plenty of beach supplies as well as helpful items for our toddler including pack and plays, a high chair, a stroller, and a wagon. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and appliances. The rooms were all nicely sized and everything was clean upon check-in. The hosts were also great about communicating with us before our stay. We would definitely stay here again!
