About this apartment rental
Is located on a hill northeast of funchal, in a side road and in a quiet area of detached houses, has an odd view of the amphitheater of funchal, the atlantic ocean and mountains, the distance from the airport international de funchal is 15 minutes and 8 minutes by car from the center of the capital-funchal, it is a starting point for the whole island. Its interior is spacious and comfortable. Has a large terrace across the facade of the apartment, all bedrooms have direct access to the terrace with table and chairs. It also has direct access to the property's large tree-lined gardens, barbecue with table and chairs, leisure areas where you can also enjoy an outdoor lunch, read or just relax.

Our stay was great. The views from the apartment are awesome. Watching the sunset from the balcony is amazing. Filomena was very helpful and a great host. Everything was as expected and a lot more.

Lovely, comfortable and well equipped apartment with a stunning view over Funchal. Filomena was very friendly and incredibly helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

(In case the rating is not 5-star, that is what we intended; our computer has trouble picking up the blue rating stars, so we had to guess where they were.) This apartment on the hill overlooking Funchal was WAY nicer than we expected--it is a tremendous bargain for what we got. First, the view of Funchal and the bay was absolutely spectacular, and the sunsets could not be matched anywhere in the world. Filomena was a joy to deal with, so enthusiastic and helpful. (Why did we imagine she would be a dowdy old lady; she's not old and she's very pretty!) The place was well equipped and charming, very comfortable. It is only a 5-minute ride down the hill to the center of Funchal, where one can find delectable restaurants, and ride the cable cars up to Monte, then take a weird basket sled ride down precipitous streets, the thrill of a lifetime. The apartment is well placed and near to lots of amenities. We thought this was one of the nicest places out of the several houses we rented in Portugal. If we had known how beautiful it is, we would have stayed much longer.
