The host was excellent, there was a bottle of local wine and biscuits waiting for us at the apartment. The apartment was clean with nice facilities and a kitchen. The view from the balcony is stunning and we spent a lot of time there.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful area! Evening view of the city from the balcony is really breathtaking. In this apartment you can relax and just enjoy your holidays after tripping around the island. The house offers a large space with everything you need during even longer stays. Highly recommended!

Not really a fault, but just a note for less able bodied (not our case, so it was not an issue) - if you struggle with walking uphill, this might not be for you, or you'll rely on buses to go to the town centre

Very spacious apartment with a stunning view on Funchal. Very quiet. Nice bakery at walking distance. Owner’s parents leave on the ground floor and are very helpful
