About this house rental
In the immediate vicinity of the city center of La Rochelle, this 85m² wooden house guarantees a peaceful stay that can accommodate up to 6 people (including children). You will have a private and closed car park in front of the house which can accommodate up to 2 vehicles.
On one level, it allows better accessibility to all people.
Its contemporary style as well as its modern furniture are there for the pleasure of the eyes but also for your comfort and in a concern of respect for the environment.
In winter you can enjoy the warmth of the wood pellet stove in the main room.
In fine weather, you can enjoy a 180m² enclosed and planted garden, an approximately 30m² terrace directly overlooking the garden, as well as a BBQ and garden furniture.
The large living room is through and has direct access to the terrace and the garden.
Located in a district of La Rochelle where all amenities are easily accessible on foot or by bicycle.
You can move every day on foot or by bicycle, without your car, to go to the central market of La Rochelle, stroll through the shops, under the arcades, visit the museums, have a drink on the terrace on the old Port of La Rochelle and other many possible activities (we can help you with your choices if you wish).

We stayed at the Architects House for a week with our 2 young children (under 6) and we had a fantastic time. The house is very modern, luxurious and comfortable. We loved having the big garden to relax in and eat dinner after a day exploring la Rochelle. The secure private on site parking was ideal for our car. Buses nearby meant we could leave the car and travel into town or walk if children were feeling energetic (1.5 km). Joëlle & Christophe are fantastic friendly hosts and helped familiarise us with the modern features of the house and get settled in really quickly on arrival. We were sorry to leave after the week! We highly recommend staying here.

We very much enjoyed our stay in La Rochelle, the property was great, the town is lovely and the hosts were very friendly and helpful both before and during our stay.

This property is very private and located close enough to everything to be within walking distance. An understandably very well designed property as the owners are the architects who work in the adjacent property. Effectively therefore you have no immediate neighbours to be concerned about in the evenings etc.The reason for 5 stars is the attention to detail with all the essentials in the kitchen, maps of La Rochelle, shopping bags and Joelle always on hand in an un-intrusive manner.I definitely recommend this property.
