Unique holiday home between Sarlat, Lascaux and Rocamadour, with its private pool
Former renovated 160m² Longère for 8 people, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and swimming pool.
Close to the Dordogne valley, the Le Suquet residence is a building from 1835 in old authentic stones from the region. It is located 30 minutes from Sarlat, Lascaux and Rocamadour. Facing south, the property is located in the heart of nature, between fields and forest, on the edge of a road with very little traffic, 5 cars per hour.
Although away from other homes and surrounded by nature, the residence Le Suquet is 10 minutes from the shops of Souillac, 15 minutes from Brive La Gaillarde airport and 25 minutes from the center of Brive.
For golf enthusiasts, the Golf de Souillac is barely 5 minutes from the house.
In the heart of a region renowned for its gastronomy, its vineyards and its cultural heritage, Le Suquet will allow you to enjoy all these pleasures and will take you to discover the many typical villages of the Dordogne and Lot.
The 10 x 5m swimming pool will allow you to find the essential freshness in a region bathed in sunshine. Finally, deer, roe deer, wild boar, rabbits are never far away and could pay you a visit early in the morning by crossing the 6000m² plot.
For sports enthusiasts, many activities are offered, such as hiking, biking, kayaking / canoeing on the Dordogne, tennis, golf, caving, .......
The house consists of a 55 m² living room, an equipped kitchen with its stove, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A large south facing terrace of 140m² will offer you a view of the heated swimming pool (if necessary) and the surrounding nature.
The house has WIFI and a TV with TNT channels, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, hair dryer, iron, BBQ, stereo and DVD player.
For rentals in autumn or winter, the house has central heating and a wood-burning stove.

This was a holiday like you wish a holiday would be. The house is spacious, beautiful and full of character.
It's situated on a quiet location and surrounded by nature, birds and deer in nearby distance.
The large pool made our stay during the heatwave. The house stayed cool on the inside. Upstairs, in the bedroom, in can get warm, but the airconditioning is sufficient.
The house is fully equipped, with a choice of three coffeemakers.
Thank you for having us and we certainly would like to return another time!
And, last but not least, we want to thank Isabelle for her warm welcome and providing all the information we needed.

La maison est située au calme avec une jolie vue sur la campagne.
La piscine est très agréable.
Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Isabelle que nous remercions pour sa gentillesse.
Déception en revanche sur la maison :
L'escalier est en mauvais état et le plancher de l'étage très sonore.
La fosse septique et le réseau d'eau usée de la maison sont vétustes.
A notre arrivée, le samedi après-midi, une intervention était en cours pour tenter de déboucher une canalisation d'eaux usées qui refoulait dans la salle d'eau du rez de chaussée.
Une entreprise est à nouveau intervenue toute une matinée avec un camion haute pression pour tenter de remédier au problème.
Nous n'avons pas utilisé la salle d'eau du rez de chaussée compte tenu des odeurs.
Nous aurions apprécié un mot d'excuse de la part des propriétaires pour ces désagréments.
