Beautiful tranquil location up on a hillside with stunning views across the valley. Property is located just off a main road up a track next to a small farm but the only noise is chickens. Property itself was spotlessly clean. Good living areas with plenty of space and a nice mezzanine level with a tv and sofas. Kitchen has almost everything you’d need and there’s a nice gas plancha outside on the terrace too. Three double bedrooms with standard size beds. As one other reviewer pointed out, mattresses are on the thin side but we slept well. Only one toilet and one bath with a sit down shower so you’ll need to plan your schedule accordingly. Pool area and pool were beautiful with seating and shade plus a hammock under the trees. Owner attends to the pool every day around 7am (not an issue for us but if you’re up early and conscious of your privacy, make sure you are dressed!). Hot tub saw little use as it was a heatwave but would have been lively in cooler weather. Comms with the owner was limited and it would have been helpful to have precise directions to the property and also a few pages on how to deal with household waste/local facilities. We are used to the different French systems but would have been helpful to know that you need to visit municipal waste sites. Also to note that the owner lives on site in a chalet away from the house but very discreet. Nice tips in person on local markets etc. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would happily star again.

The house is very convenient for 6 people (with 3 double beds). The outdoor area is very pleasant and green. There is a very nice garden with swimming pool and jacuzzi overlooking the valley. The property is very private and yet not too far from the nearby town (2500 inhabitants with bakery, butchery and a nice and lively market on Tuesdays). The owner leaves next door and takes care of the daily cleaning of the swimming pool.

We had a wonderful 2 week break at this lovely villa with our 3 year old son. The villa is absolutely spotless and very beautiful with views to die for. There’s plenty to do and visit around the area and we very much enjoyed our time here and hope to come back again next year. Our host Viviane, although our French is only very basic, was really easy to communicate with, very helpful and discreet and always on hand when needed. Thank you very much again! Everything was perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is located on one side of a valley, giving stunning views. The house is modern, spacious and clean, the pool is great (although not heated) but the stand out for us was the lovely garden. You can sit in sun, or in tree covered shady areas while soaking up the views. If it all gets too much, then swing in a hammock, BBQ, eat and drink under the Verandah (which gets the late afternoon/early evening sun). One highlight of our stay was a late night rescue of a young Hare that we heard splashing around in the pool! The Ardeche region has great driving roads, so if you have a motorbike or a sports car, be sure to bring it with you! Lamastre was a bit quiet (off season) but had a good local Supermarket. Tournon-sur-Rhone was an excellent place to go for eating out and only a half hour drive away. We hired Bikes and cycled on Le Dolce Via (old railway line) from Le Cheylard to Nonieres, which is a gentle uphill 8km ride. We also enjoyed the Train de l' Ardeche "Gorges" route, on open carriages behind a steam train. The owner was very helpful, and was quickly on hand to help with anything we didn't understand, even helping us to choose a good restaurant for our final night. Thoroughly recommended!

We have just returned from fantastic family break in this lovely property. Boys (aged 9 and 11) loved the pool, and the sunloungers had an amazing view! Enjoyed bbq and local wine on the terrace most evenings, a very relaxing end to the day! Local area is beautiful and we would recommend a trip on the velorail which is close by (need to book in high season). Viviane, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a great holiday!

Très belle maison dans la montagne après voir traversé un petit sous bois vous pouvez découvrir la maison de Mme CONTE qui sera présente pour vous présenter sa maison et répondre à vos questions ,une personne charmante . Si vous aimez le calme la nature et souhaitez une vue a couper le souffle c'est une réservation à ne pas manquer sur place une maison très propre qui correspond à 100% aux photos de l'annonce. La piscine reste à une température très agréable entre 26 et 28 degres et le SPA est top super séjour

La maison est isolée à flanc de colline. Fraiche quand il fait chaud (même si cet été 2021 n’a pas été particulièrement chaud..nous avons eu quelques belles journées). 3 belles chambres, une grande salle de bain, WC indépendant avec lave main. Nombreux rangements, un grand espace en mezzanine avec une belle TV. Des jeux de société à disposition. Cuisine fonctionnelle et une pièce avec des accessoires de gym et machine à laver. Bref..à l’intérieur il y a tout ce qu’il faut…mais le meilleur est dehors ! Le jardin est un paradis pour les yeux…c’est beau…c’est entretenu avec gout sans être tiré à 4 épingles. Des tas de jolis arbres, un terrain de pétanque, une piscine et un spa avec une vue sublime. En fin de journée les collines en face sont très jolies et la nuit regarder les étoiles dans le spa c’est juste top ! Merci à Viviane de partager sa si belle maison. (Elle vit à coté donc dispo si besoin mais très discrète si on veut du calme). On recommande ++

La maison et son environnement sont agréables. Seuls bémols: la piscine trop froide pour une piscine chauffée (23/24 degrés alors que nous avons précisé à notre arrivée que nous sommes frileux et que nous sommes habitués à 28 degrés). La propriétaire habite une maison sur le terrain, cela ne nous a pas dérangé mais nous aurions à ce tarif aimé le savoir avant.

Belle residence, avec de grandes chambres et un grand salon. Tout est tres bien entretenus et propre. Le SPA sous les etoiles etait un vrai plus ! Mme Conte est gentille, disponible et arrangeante. Ideal pour s'amuser et decompresser entre amis au milieu de la nature.

Séjour au calme avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Très belle maison avec une belle piscine, un jacuzzi et un magnifique jardin ,entretenu par Mne Comte en toute discrétion. Une propriétaire très sympathique. Je conseille fortement cette location . Nous avons passé 1 merveilleuse semaine de vacances.

Wir hatten einen tollen einwöchigen Aufenthalt in Le Crestet! Viviane ist eine wahnsinnig sympathische und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin und kümmert sich um alles! Das Haus, der Pool usw. waren super sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt und wir haben die Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe sehr genossen! Wir waren mit fünf Personen dort (2 Erw., 3 Kinder) und fahren sicher wieder mal hin. Danke, Viviane!

Quel plaisir, mais quel plaisir ce séjour !! La maison est superbe avec des chambres très spacieuses, le salon est très grand, mais surtout : la piscine avec une vue magnifique depuis la terrasse ! Nous voulions nous reposer et profiter de la vie et bien, succès garanti ! Viviane est une hôtesse remarquable et très attentionnée; C’ est d’ailleurs elle qui nettoyait la piscine chaque matin sans que l’on l’apperçoive. La maison, bien qu’isolée est à seulement 5 minutes de Lamastre où l’on trouve tout le nécessaire. On recommande sans problème

Superbe propriété au calme, avec tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un séjour reposant et agréable. Nous avons particulièrement aimé: - la location, retirée et au calme, au sein d’un écrin verdoyant, avec une belle vue sur les monts d’Ardèche - la proximité de Lamastre, avec tout ce qu’il faut comme commerces (bars, restaurants, supermarchés, pharmacie etc.) - le jardin très bien aménagé, avec toujours un coin d’ombre disponible si nécessaire et de l’air pour rafraîchir les jours ensoleillés - la piscine, dont une grande partie convient aux enfants (notre fils de 5 ans pouvait s’égayer seul dans la petite profondeur) - les nombreux fauteuils, transats et hamac disponible - la terrasse à l’ombre, avec barbecue - la maison confortable et fraîche si l’on prend soin de bien aérer le matin et le soir les jours de fortes chaleurs - le coin bureau sur la mezzanine, pour pouvoir travailler au calme si nécessaire - les équippements divers - une hôte aux petits soins et discrète, qui entretient notamment la piscine quotidiennement Bref, un séjour réussi! Nous y reviendrons certainement.

Belle propriété, nichée au fin fond d'un petit chemin sous les bois Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, dans le calme et la tranquillité avec comme seul bruit de fond, le chant des oiseaux accompagné d'une magnifique vue sue la vallée. Une bien belle semaine passée dans cette belle maison, fonctionnelle et perdue dans la forêt...tout en étant à quelques minutes des commerces ! De quoi se ressourcer, profiter de la piscine, et faire plein de ballades dans les environs. Location très fonctionnelle, un petit coup de cœur pour la mezzanine, bel endroit pour le cocooning, et le hamac pour des siestes réparatrices ! Merci à Viviane , très sympathique, tout à la fois discrète et à l'écoute. Cette maison est un endroit parfait pour une famille avec la possibilité que chacun trouve son petit endroit à lui ! Nous venons de passer une semaine à La rivière au Crestet avec nos 4 petits -enfants Belle propriété en pleine nature avec une vue imprenable , bien aménagée Lieu propice à la détente, super avec des enfants avec la piscine sécurisée par l’alarme . La maison est très fonctionnelle avec sa partie nuit bien séparée du coin jour ,belle décoration Terrain de boule très apprécié des petits -enfants qui ont pu s’amuser sans risque Nous remercions Viviane qui habite tout près mais qui sait rester discrète . Nous venons de passer une semaine fantastique à ‘’la rivière’’. Plantée en pleine nature et en même temps proche de la civilisation, cette maison très bien aménagée et équipée a été parfaite pour laisser courir nos petits bonhommes, nous ressourcer, faire des bbq… et que dire des siestes au bord de la piscine sous le jasmin en fleur, en bref un vrai régal ! Merci à vous Viviane pour l’entretien matinal de la piscine et pour les petites attentions. Les activités dans le coin sont diverses et variées tel que le petit tour en rosalie électrique au Cheylard sur La via dolce, mais ne loupez surtout pas le tour de train à vapeur ! Assurément une région à découvrir.

Nous avons passé 4 jours entre amies dans ce petit écrin de verdure, logées dans une maison très bien agencée et décorée avec goût. Un jardin avec diverses espèces végétales et parfaitement entretenu fait de ce lieu un endroit propice à la détente. Nous avons apprécié le calme absolu et la quiétude qui y règne, ainsi que toutes les commodités dont nous pouvions disposer (piscine, barbecue, accès wifi, jeux, etc...). Le séjour s'est tellement bien passé que nous avions du mal à repartir, donc nous reviendrons certainement avec grand plaisir :)

Nous avons découvert une partie de la France que nous ne connaissions pas, l’Ardèche ! Un air pur, des balades à pied et en vélo au milieu de magnifiques forêts, des villages authentiques, des gens chaleureux, le top! Seuls personnages manquants : nos amis les champignons qui sont restés bien cachés cette année… Pas grave, nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Viviane. La maison est grande et confortable, on s’y sent bien! lire au bord de la cheminée fût un réel plaisir ! L’extérieur est magnifique également ! L'accueil de Viviane a été excellent. Pour ceux qui cherchent à se ressourcer en famille, “la rivière” et l’Ardèche en sont le parfait endroit ! Merci encore Amandine
