This ground floor self-catering apartment is located in the idyllic village of Letterfrack, in the heart of Connemara National Park, close to Kylemore Abbey and Killary Fjord. 3 bedrooms spacious apartment, sleeps 4. A short stroll from local vibrant bars, restaurants and shops and just a short drive to the wonderful white sandy beaches of the Renvyle Peninsula. This property serves as a great base for families and friends to explore the Connemara Region. In keeping with this magnificent location, local activities include: fishing, hill walking, pony trekking, golf, boating, island trips, kayaking, adventure centres and much more - providing you with an ideal opportunity to enjoy all this region has to offer. Clifden town is a short drive away which also offers many shops, bars, cafes and services. Galway City and Westport are both within an hour's drive of Letterfrack village.

The bedrooms all have wooden floors and furniture. The family bathroom includes bath with overhead shower. Electric heating throughout property. Ample parking on site. Apt was in an ideal location. However we experienced an issue with the TV, which was promptly addressed, then an issue with hot water, which required a new element for the boiler. This ultimately resulted in us leaving a day early. The caretaker and manager were very responsive so no issues with them.

There was an issue with our original booking which could not be resolved and we reluctantly accepted a change of venue. The new accommodation was for 4 people rather than 5 which meant that our daughter spent her holiday sleeping on a blow up mattress rather than a "spare mattress" which was what I expected when I agreed to the new arrangement. The accommodation is clean but shabby - door handles hanging off, paint cracked, tiles in need of re-grouting, there was even a crack in the toilet! Charging for electricity was an unwelcome surprise. A communal clothes line is needed as there was nowhere to dry wet swimming gear.
I would recommend staying in this accommodation but it's not a quality offering.

Thank you for a great 'Staycation' for my friend and I. Your accommodation, welcome & service was top class. Letterfrack was perfect base for touring & exploring Connemara. Loved the warm hospitality also from local people.

Theoretically this could be a wonderful stay. It has all the tools. However it all seemed a bit run down, oven was uncleaned, bath was a bit moldy.Communication with staff was very nice and there are great pubs and restaurants nearby.
