Property is perfect, clean and plenty of room. Location is perfect on the beach. WW2 museum and many memorials 2 mins walk away. Beautiful nature reserve 5 mins walk away. Lots to do in area. Owners are very friendly and check in and out very easy. VRBO excellent kept us well informed all way through.

Myself, my partner & her 14 year old grandson had a great time visiting the normandy area. The property was right on the beach and in a very quiet location. The property had all the amenities you need and was clean throughout. Would highly recommend.

Superb host who answered all questions immediately, so kind and polite. The property is spacious with all facilities required, the garden is perfect for pets and children. From the back gate you can walk over a dune and on to the beach or from the front gate a 2 minute walk, for interest the Utah beach museum is under 5 minute walk away. Living area over two stories with a garage containing wet room, 2nd toilet, washing machine and the opportunity to purchase the owners home made cider/pommeau/apple juice. We hope to return next year as the experience was 10/10, the host 10/10, property 10/10 and the beach was definitely a 10! Thank you so much.

We were three adults, three kids and one small dog - we really enjoyed the clean house and easy access to the beach through a short path through the dunes. The house was fine with the one bathroom on the ground floor. The second bathroom is in the garage and we used it for after beach rinsing, definitely wouldn’t consider it as bathroom for normal use. We took advantage of the fireplace one morning and it really warmed up the house. We also used the small barbecue one evening. Maybe just one thing to keep in mind for this rental is that you have to bring everything from toiletries to olive oil, it’s fine for us but it is worth mentioning. The owner was really friendly and offered us two delicious bottles os home made cider! Thanks so much I would recommend this place to others.

We had a lovely week staying in this property. The house itself is very spacious and nicely laid out. It is visible that the owners have been updating it to a fairly high standard. The garden is a lovely size and the back gate opens straight onto Utah Beach. The museum is a short walk away and there is plenty of things to do around he area. But....we knew we had to bring our own linen (or rent it for 10 euro's per person) but I did not realise that it included toilet rolls, washing up liquid, sponges etc. We've stayed in a few properties before both in France, UK and Czech Republic and such basic things were always provided. So to our luck there was a supermarket open on Sunday to be able to get all those (very rare in France for shops to be open on Sunday's). However, there were dishwasher tablets provided...If you like to have a kettle then I suggest to take your own too as there is only a filter coffee maker (filters were provided luckily!!!) or you will have to resort to boiling water in a saucepan like we did if you wanted a herbal or "builders" tea. Would I stay again? Hhhmmm, probably just need to remember to take everything from home rather than having to buy it...but it is a lovely property at a fabulous location which is easy to find.

Spent a fortnight here in the most perfect house on the beach. The house has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It is ideally placed in a small hamlet which is nice and quiet but not too far from shops. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival. Would love to return to this house and would definitely recommend.

Zum zweiten Mal haben wir dieses schöne Haus besucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist Top, super mit Hund, Garten ist komplett eingezäunt. Betten sind sehr bequem und auch sonst alles in Ordnung! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Alles was aanwezig in huis . Het rook alleen muf toen we binnenkwamen, was jammer. Het was erg schoon in huis. Even een tip er was een kuil bij de trap en dat was het enige minpunt. Graag egaliseren is moeilijk voor een oudere persoon. Voor de rest alles oké. We komen zeker terug

Het was voor ons de eerste vakantie in Normandië samen met onze kids en onze viervoeter ! Ligging is echt top ! Super voor wie houdt van rust en natuur. Dichter bij het strand kan niet, wat erg in onze smaak viel, perfect ook voor lange strand wandelingen. Huisje was prima in orde en hebben er ook dagelijks gekookt, alles was voorhanden. Supermarkt is op ongeveer 15 km, bakkerij op 5 km. Het is een echte aanrader! Wij hebben er volop van genoten. We hadden wel geen wifi, maar eigenlijk was dit zalig 😉. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar ! Bedankt aan de eigenaars voor de fijne ontvangst.

Vorab kann ich sagen, das dass Haus sehr sauber und gemütlich war! Ein Stern Abzug gibt es aus folgenden Gründen: -Schimmel Bildung im Flur und den oberen Schlafräumen -Das nächste ist nicht direkt Kritik aber für Menschen mit Angst vor Spinnen wichtig zu wissen! Die oberen Schlafräume sind mit Holz an den Wänden verkleidet. Dieses hat große Astlöcher. In meinem Fall ist am ersten Abend eine Spinne vom Fenster in ein Astloch gekrabbelt. Die Löcher sind schräg genau über der Liegefläche wodurch man Angst hat das einem eine Spinne oder sonst was auf den Kopf fällt.... Nicht jedem macht das was, aber ich habe die Löcher mit Tempo ausstaffiert und auch gesehen das das jemand vor mir auch schon getan hat. So ging es einigermaßen! -Des weiteren fehlen Kleinigkeiten, wie Geschirrhandtücher, große Schüsseln für Salate oder so. Bei einem 8 Personen Haushalt sollte es so was in groß geben! -Dann sollten einige Kleinigkeiten ausgetauscht werden wie ein kaputter Wäschekorb, eine Fußmatte über die mein Mann gefallen ist da diese komplett kaputt und nach oben gebogen war. -Super das Hunde mit dürfen , aber echt schade das man die Hundehaufen vom Vormieter selber weg machen musste! Für uns war es selbstverständlich die unserer Hunde weg zu machen, aber wenn man anbietet das Hunde mit dürfen sollte man auch damit rechnen welche weg machen zu müssen wenn die Mieter diese liegen lassen. -Leider war ein Spannbettlacken viel zu klein und voller roter Flecken. Nicht schön!!! Perfekter Zugang zum Strand, toller Garten und ein gemütlicher Wohnraum. Vom oberen Schlafzimmer aus hat man einen tollen Blick auf das Meer und kann Meeresrauschen beim einschlafen genießen! Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und wir bekamen zur Begrüßung leckeren Apfel Cidre! Danke für eine schöne Urlaubs Woche! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder😊 Viele Grüße, Familie Pissarczyk

Toto ubytování bylo naprosto úžasné, poloha perfektní, vše fungovalo bez problémů. Jedinou připomínku bych měla k tomu, že jsme dlouho nemohli objevit propagovanou druhou koupelnu s WC, které byly umístěny ve sklepě. Přeci jen nás byla skupina 6 lidí a jedna koupelna s WC skutečně nestačila. Jinak parádní, jela bych znovu! Pláž pro sebe, klid.... děkujeme moc!

Das Haus war sauber und nett eingerichtet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Räume zum Teil neu renoviert. Bis auf Kleinigkeiten wie z.B. Geschirrtücher oder Müllbeutel, war die Küche komplett eingerichtet. Der ganz große Pluspunkt dieses Hauses ist definitv die Lage! Durch eine kleine Gartenpforte gelangt man über die Düne direkt auf den schönen, breiten Sandstrand. Ende September hatten wir den Strand bei herrlichem Sonnenschein fast für uns alleine. Vor allem mein Hund war vom Strand nicht wieder weg zu bekommen, aber auch der große, komplett umfriedete Garten ist ein Hundeparadies. Die Vermieter sind wirklich nett, die Kommunikation hat super geklappt und Fragen wurden sehr schnell beantwortet. Auch wenn das Haus im Flur und Dachgeschoss etwas mit Feuchtigkeit zu kämpfen hat (bei direkter Meer-Lage nicht unbedingt zu vermeiden) kann ich das Haus uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

We loved our stay!!! The house was clean, spacious (for three people, hehe), had parking space for our car and bikes and is right at the beach. with the terrace and balcony there is always a sunny spot to sit outside. The next village (and bakery) is 6 km away, the next supermarkt even further, but that wasn't a problem for us, as we had the car and bikes. The landlords have been very helpful with questions we had. Thank you family Tourainne for renting out this lovely place.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La maison est très bien située, permettant de se détendre a la plage très facilement (Moins d'une minute a pied) et de profiter de la proximité des sites historiques (musées, lieux importants de la seconde guerre mondiale). La maison est très bien agencée et dispose de tout le nécessaire pour une famille. Nous recommandons donc ce logement pour passer de bonnes vacances en famille.

Wir waren nun zum zweiten Mal in dem Ferienhaus mit fünf erwachsenen Personen, die Lage ist perfekt, auch für Hundebesitzer, die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, wir haben einen großen Hund, auch auch das war kein Problem und es hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Das Haus hat über die Dünen einen direkten Zugang zum Strand, dieser ist traumhaft. Dieses Jahr konnten wir direkt am Meer Seehunde beobachten. Die Ausstattung des Hauses hat alles, was man zum täglichen Bedarf benötigt. Ein großes Plus ist der große Balkon, man kann Abends herrlich draußen sitzen und den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Alternativ bietet der komplett eingezäunte Garten ausreichend Platz für Sonnenstunden. Wir werden bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal im Beach House gewesen sein.

From 11-7-2015 till 18-07-2015 we were in the holiday home. Big and beautiful house, right by the sea. It is very quiet but anywhere close to the Normandy landing beaches and the history around it. There is no promenade, if you expect this . A surprising tip is to go to Du Mont Saint-Michel when you really just want to do something else, it will surprise you. Oh the ice is very expensive 2 euros per scoop or more (for the hot days very important to know). Wir waren knapp 2 Wochen am Utah beach, hatten sehr schönes Wetter und schöne, ruhige Ferien am Meer. Es ist traumhaft, wenn man den Garten verlässt, über eine Düne geht und dann direkt am Strand / Wasser ist. Bei Ebbe laden extrem breite Sandstrände zu kilometerweiten Spaziergängen ein . Das Haus ist sehr hübsch, hat alles, was man braucht :-) Gerne wieder :-) :-)

Wir haben das 2. Mal innerhalb von 2 Jahren unsere Osterferien in diesem wunderschön gelegenen, hübsch eingerichteten Strandhaus verbracht und waren wieder begeistert. Eben schnell mal an den Strand gehen, nachdem man vom Dachfenster aus nachgeschaut hat, ob Ebbe oder Flut ist... traumhaft. Oder nach einem Ausflug an eines der vielen schönen Ziele des Cotentins mit den Kindern den Tag am Meer ausklingen lassen. Die Kinder können in den Dünen und am Strand toben und danach wird im Haus der Kaminofen angezündet. Bedanken möchten wir uns für die schönen Ferien noch einmal ganz herzlich bei den Vermietern des Hauses, die mit ihrer freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Art kleine Missgeschicke ihrer Mieter sympatisch meistern. Merci beaucoup!

Quel bel endroit que cette location où nous avons passé un super séjour pour les fêtes de fin d'année.Très bien situé en bord de mer, les pieds quasiment dans l'eau:)juste séparé par une petite dune.Résidence très bien équipée et très confortable. Un environnement calme et magnifique, nous n'avons pas était déçus en arrivant, bien au contraire. Nous la conseillons à tous les amoureux de la mer, de la nature et/ou de l'histoire de la seconde guerre. Ce fût un réel plaisir que de pouvoir faire un bon feu de cheminée en famille le soir de Noël. Nous pensons sérieusement y retourner... Un grand merci aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité.

Nous venons de passer une très belle semaine dans cette location située idéalement derrière la dune d'Utah Beach. Génial de pouvoir voir la mer de chez soi (d'une seule chambre seulement, par contre)... La maison est assez bien équipée, les couchages sont de très bonne qualité. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques. La situation de la maison permet un bon rayonnement touristique sur la région sans faire trop de kilomètres. Immersion garantie dans l'ambiance du débarquement. Le musée d'Utah Beach se trouve au bout de la rue. Nous n'avons pas pu le visiter car il était fermé pour travaux d'extension (réouverture 6 juin 2011). Nous reviendrons, c'est sûr.
