About this house rental

This large house (200 m²) can accommodate 6 people on 3 floors: All rooms and bedrooms are pleasantly bright and has a beautiful view of Lake Maggiore.
On the ground floor you have a large living space including a living room with sofas, satellite TV, fireplace and a dining area. A door leads directly onto the south facing terrace where you can enjoy a splendid view. fully equipped kitchen and bathroom.
On the first floor you will have two bedrooms (one with 1 double bed and the other with twin beds) and a bathroom. A small room between the two rooms.
On the second floor there is another bedroom with double bed. A hallway and a bathroom.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Especially the view is great and the garden is ideal for kids, (fully fenced!) and well taken care of (the gardener arrived just when we left). There's a slide, a grill and an inflatable kids pool which made a big difference! Also we were happy with the nice baby bed. And communication with the owner was excellent. But there are a few drawbacks: - unfortunately there are cables running right across the view - the kitchen is extremely poorly equipped. there was not a single frying pan or working knife and only one cutting board. Also the toaster is more of a bread warmer than anything else. It would have been nice of the owner had supplied a few tubs for the dishwasher - the shower head in one of the bathrooms fell off on our second day - it just seems like it was worn out. One of the toilets flushes so violently that water spills over the edge. - as mentioned in the ad there is no parking nearby so luggage have to be carried from the car to the house (about 200m, rocky path) Overall we had a great week. We would have expected a better kitchen for that price though.

My family and I stayed here for two weeks. It is a beautiful location high above the lake. It was very roomy, affording plenty of space for three couples to spread out and have privacy. The yard is wonderful. We cooked in the kitchen every day and had family meals. It has everything you need except bring our own knives, we couldn't even sharpen what was there. The twin beds on the second floor need to be replaced. We found a mattress on the third floor and placed it on the worst just to be to be able to sleep. When you lay on it you literally sink to the bottom. There were no pillows on the twin beds either although we found some and no pillow cases. We knew to bring our own towels but there really should be towels there. We had to find the modem box in the attic to find the internet password. We left it written on a note on the bulletin board in the kitchen for the next guests. This should have been there as well as the location of the laundry, behind door number three. All in all we had a wonderful time there as we expected from other reviews these few problems.

The house is generally comfortable with a fantastic view of the lake and a nicely maintained garden and outdoor area. You need to park the car in a car park and walk a couple of hundred metres uphill to get to the house. It is not the house to choose if you have mobility issues.There were four adults and two children in our party and the house was large enough to accomodate us all comfortably. The furnishings are basic and what you might expect in a holiday house. The single mattress on one of the beds was very uncomfortable with springs virtually exposed but otherwise the beds were fine. You should also be aware of the fact that while the web site says linen is supplied it should mention that towels were not. This creates difficulties as it is not the usual practice in our experience and we do not expect to need to include six bath towels in our luggage. We found a random selection of towels in a cupboard in the house that included two bath towels and some hand towels with which we made do. We enjoyed our stay here, in particular the lovely views and quiet rural location.

We had a nice stay. The landlord was very quick to respond to any message. The house is here and there a little flawed and not super clean. The kitchen is pleasantly large and we could keep the bedrooms cool. The dog had a great vacation in the garden. Less pleasant was that the gardener and the cleaner arrived on the day of departure at 9.30 am in the garden, so we felt pressured to leave.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt mit vier Kindern und Hund sehr genossen. Wer es ruhig mag und nicht den ganz großen Komfort braucht, der ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Küchenausstattung mit großem Gasherd und einem großem Kühl-/Gefrierschrank passt, ein paar mehr Gläser und Tassen wären nicht schlecht gewesen. Die Badezimmer und Schlafzimmer sind o.k., ist halt ein altes Haus. Klar, man muss die letzten 100 Meter zum Haus zu Fuß zurücklegen, aber das wussten wir vorher. Das Haus punktet einfach mit der grandiosen Aussicht, dem urigen Flair und den wirklich sehr netten Nachbarn (damit sind nicht die lästigen Mücken gemeint).

Das Haus liegt am ende der Ort, sehr schön und ruhig, mit herrlichem Blick über den Lago Maggiore. Viel Platz, gut ausgestattete Küche. Parken muss man unten, bis zum Haus ist 2-3 Minuten zu Fuß. Wunderschöne Terrasse und ein gepflegter Garten. Wir haben die Woche in dem Huas sehr genossen.

Toller ruhiger Ort um sich zu erholen, alles da was es braucht an Infrastruktur. Wunderbarer gepflegter Garten mit schöner Aussicht auf den Lago Maggiore. Wanderungen in den Wäldern, gutes Essen im Restaurant vor Ort, ein Lebensmittelladen der den täglichen Bedarf abdeckt. War eine schöne Woche!

Das Haus liegt am Ortsende, absolut ruhig mit einer herrlichen Aussicht auf den See. Der Gepäck- und Lebensmitteltransport ist schweißtreibend, aber das war uns vorher bekannt. Gemütliche Ausstattung, alte Möbel, viel Platz. Küche auch gut ausgestattet, etwas zusammengewürfeltes Geschirr, aber alles zweckmäßig. Hatten 3-Generationen-Urlaub, dafür war das Haus mit den drei Bädern perfekt.

Très belle maison, très propre avec vue magnifique sur le lac. Elle dispose d'un petit jardin bien agréable. Le propriétaire est très réactif. Le seul petit défaut est l'accès qui est un peu "sportif" comme on ne peut pas se garer près de la maison et qu'il y peu de places disponibles. Il est parfois nécessaire de se garer bien loin!

Schönes Ferienhaus mit einfacher aber ausreichender Ausstattung und atemberaubenden Blick über fast den gesamten See. Netter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter, alles sehr professionell. Vorsicht mit viel Gepäck und oder großen Autos. Die Straße ist recht eng, aber VW-Bus oder V-Klasse geht noch gut. Man kann nicht direkt an das Ferienhaus fahren, die letzten ca. 300 m sind ein Fußweg.

Die Haus ist großzügig und für Familien gut geeignet, man hat auch mit 6 Personen gut Platz. Betten sind o.k. Die Aussicht und der Garten bzw. Sitzplatz sind herrlichst. Der Garten ist herrlich gepflegt. W-LAN gut mit ausreichender Geschwindigkeit (für Jugendliche sehr wichtig), so dass meinen einen Film auch über Internet in HD gut sehen kann. Mobiliar am Essplatz ist wohl für die Fotos mit Photoshop optimiert worden. Gleiches gilt für die Küche. Bezüglich der Küchenausstattung ist zwar das Meiste da, aber wer mal wirklich kocht, der merkt, dass die Ausstattung schmal ist. Teller und Gläser sind üppig bzw. ausreichend, aber keine scharfen Messer, keine Brettchen, Bratpfanne ist verbraucht und nur ein größerer Topf. Es gibt zwar einen Toaster, der hat aber Schweizer Stecker und es gibt keinen Adapter. Badezimmer: Es gibt zwar 3 Bäder mit Toiletten, aber real zu gebrauchen sind jeweils zwei. Duschschläuche ausgeleiert oder die Toilettenspülung spritzt über die Schüssel. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war problemlos, korrekt und jeweils sehr hilfsbereit. Insgesamt haben wir den Aufenthalt trotz einiger Ausstattungsmängel jedoch sehr genossen.

Das alte Haus hat Charakter und man hat einen fantastischen Blick über den See. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und antwortet immer sofort auf alle Anfragen. Der gesamte Ablauf war sehr unkompliziert. Im Haus sind teilweise tolle alte Möbel und Kunstbilder vorhanden, leider oft kombiniert mit gammeligen, alten Möbeln. Die Schlafzimmer sind gut und ansonsten hält man sich - zumindest im Sommer - eh immer draußen auf. Technisch ist alles etwas improvisiert, in der Küche liegen Mehrfachsteckdosen und teilweise muss man die Geräte an den Steckdosen tauschen, um sie zu benutzen. Die Ausstattung an Geräten ist besser als im Internet beschrieben, Waschmaschine, WLan, ... alles funktioniert bestens. Im Garten steht ein Tisch mit 6 Stühlen, Liegen gibt es leider nicht, aber auf einem Handtuch kann man sich auch sonnen. Der Garten ist komplett eingezäunt und das Grundstück nur über einen Wanderweg zu erreichen. Das Auto parkt man weiter unten im Dorf. Zu Fuß an den See zu gehen dauert gut 40 Minuten, der Rückweg länger. Es lohnt sich aber nicht wirklich, da es keine schöne Badestelle oder so etwas wie ein Zentrum vor Ort gibt. Allerdings ist ein kleiner Lebensmittelladen fussläufig erreichbar. Also ist man auf den kleinen Serpentinenstraßen viel mit dem Auto unterwegs. Wandern kann man prima, sollte aber die Hitze nicht unterschätzen. Der Weg am Haus führt in ein größtenteils verlassenes Dorf. Auch mit Hunden kann man prima laufen, überall gibt es Bergbäche. Fahrrad fahren ist möglich. Alles im allen ein prima Urlaub in einer netten Unterkunft.

Cette maison en pierre a un charme indéniable. Nous l’avons trouvée très propre et assez bien équipée. Mais c’est surtout sa disposition qui est fantastique avec des vues sur le lac depuis notamment toutes les chambres. Elle possède également un très joli petit jardin, très bien entretenu avec de belles essences de la région : azalée, rhododendron, lavande...

Elle est pleine de charme avec un jardin agréable, une cuisine conviviale, un séjour chaleureux avec sa cheminée. on s'y sent bien et la vue sur le lac est magnifique de toutes les fenêtres! bien située près de Verbania pour visiter la région. Petit chemin pour rejoindre la maison (100m à pied environ) après avoir garé la voiture

We had a perfect holliday in this house with a lot of space! The vieuw is fantastic! We enjoyed the silence and the peace there. We hebben ongelooflijk genoten van onze week in dit huis. Als je houdt van veel plaats , rust , prachtig uitzicht dan ben je aan het juiste adres. Ondanks dat de auto niet aan het huis staat was het niet ver lopen en hadden we steeds parkeerplaats op stapafstand. De eigenaar reageert zeer stipt en de samenwerking is perfect.

Wij hebben 2 weken vakantie gevierd in dit prachtige huis. Het uitzicht en de locatie is echt fenomenaal, het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, het enigste wat wij miste was een goede tuinset, ik heb hier met de verhuurder contact over gehad, en hij ging daar waarschijnlijk wat aan doen, de verhuurder is trouwens zeer correct, en reageert zeer snel, ook onze borg was snel teruggestort. Veel te doen in de omgeving, met leuke dorpjes, en het fantastische meer als heerlijk afkoel momentje. Kortom een aanrader. Groeten uit Nijkerk

This house was well stocked, provides everything you need. The view is better than the pictures! This property was very clean and well maintained. We were able to see the entire west side of Lake Maggiore and enjoyed the ferries to the islands, and the train to Locarno, Switzerland and then took the ferry back to Intra. We enjoyed restaurants in almost every town along the coast of the lake. The history, architecture and people in the area were very enjoyable. This is one of the best vacation homes we have rented. We highly recommend this home to future vacationers. We would love to return one day.
