Beautiful location on a lovely farm, with Pendle Hill in the background. The animals on the farm are so friendly, especially the house "holiday" cat! The house was very comfortable and the views were beautiful. Location is great for access to the national park and Clitheroe.
Only thing was the driveway towards the property, difficult to navigate with the car but not the owners fault, more with my car choice! Will be ok with most but if you have a low car, proceed with care.

Such an awesome little gem in the middle of nowhere with picturesque scenes,
The owner was so friendly and helpful, and the farm's cat is adorable.
It was very useful to be able to access a local event that was going on and then to be able to come back to such a refreshing place like this, would deffo stay again.

The third bedroom is a child’s room with a very small single bed and it isn’t fit for an adult. I think it wise to tell people that is the case -and
it’s really 2 doubles and 1 child room. We had to book another Airbnb to accommodate my adult daughter and could have done without the expense.

Lovely rural location, with great views.
Nothing to dislike about the property.

We absolutely love this place - stayed many times so it’s a home from home. Love the surroundings of Pendle Hill and the animals on the nearby farm.
It has everything you need - particularly well equipped kitchen. It was very warm and comfortable. Great for people who love the outdoors. The pub down the road - the Calf’s Head - is walking distance where you can enjoy excellent food and a cheeky beer.

Once the heating was sorted due to no fault of the owners there was nothing to dislike

Lovely location on the farm
The track up to the cottages could do with the pot holes filling in. Not good for the cars suspension!

Love staying at Pendleside. This was our 4th time here and it never disappoints.
Friendly hosts, beautiful cottage with stunning views. Some of the best walks in the Northwest on the doorstep.
Highly recommended.

Location fabulous, far enough out to be away from it all while being only 10 mins away by car from Clitheroe for shopping. Pub/restaurant only a mile down the road. Clitheroe is lovely for a visit and there are lots of picturesque towns and villages and good walking/ cycling trails in the area, including a route up Pendle Hill from the back of the farm.
Loved the cottage .. it was comfy and relaxing with a panoramic view. Rustic with wooden beams and wood burner as well as radiators (not needed when we went). Comfey beds. Cottage had all that was needed.
Host John was very welcoming and friendly. Some comments I've read say hosts are not around. It is a working farm, but there's a notice in the cottage giving phone numbers to contact if need be. Various farm animals to interest families with children.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave.
Can't say there was anything we didn't like. Some may find the TV a little small but we weren't there for that and didn't watch it. The general area isn't great for internet signals, but that's not a fault of the cottage.

Wonderful cosy farm cottage with garden and view across the valley. Good value for money and friendly host. Great base for walks.
Should have its own internet and router but instead it shares the owner's across the site using boosters. Not ideal if you were planning on working online or streaming a film at night or whatever.

Cottage was quaint.... and in whole place was cosy and warm! Didn't meet the hosts properly just got instructions as to where cottage located and informed key in door.
Place lovely in general mattress to soft but that's a preference. Two double rooms with double beds, however the single room wasn't suitable for us in general as one couple in one room, young lady of 19th in one and a 16 year old in small room with single bed (single bed more like a cot bed and 16 year very tall. Be good if noted on advert that it is a cot bed/small single.

Everything, it was warm comfortable, and cosy, all on one level, and plenty of space, if I needed any help the owner was at the end of the phone, veiws all around and the dog enjoyed it too.
