location was fantastic, easy walking distance to the shop. Really handy to get to the beach at bamburgh. Extremely clean and tidy.

Although a bit cramped for four adults (a small second room with bunk beds), the cottage itself is comfortable and tidy and it has a nice terrace.
But the description of the surroundings creates false expectations and is downright misleading. Bluebell Farm once was a farm, but is now a holiday park. The full name is Bluebell Farm Caravan Park & Holiday Cottages: see photos of the two side views and the entrance. It's a mix of closely spaced caravans and cottages. None of the photos of the owner or agency suggests this: misleading information, indeed. Birds are quite pleasant, but dozens of caged exotic birds in aviaries behind the hedge just a few meters from the cottage are disturbing, especially when the birds start chirping from 4.30 a.m. onward.
We would like to request to describe the surroundings of the cottage as it really is and spell out the name in full, so that no one is misled. If we had got the right information, we would never have booked the cottage.
