We absolutely enjoyed our stay. We chose it because of the location and it was great. Watching the fish from the seawall with an occasional ray going by. Morning kayaking over the coral, out to where all the tourists come to swim with the rays and sharks, long before all the tourist ever get there. Fun to be there all by ourselves. Perfect clear waters, lots of fish. Close to Coco Beach restaurant. (A must do) Watching all the Sand Crabs wander out of their holes in the back yard. The bedrooms were comfortably air conditioned. The living area is not air conditioned so, the screenless windows are open during the day so the breeze can blow through. You must close the windows after dark for the bugs so, it can get a little warm in the living area during the evening. There are a couple of fans there to help relieve that. So, outside of the bedrooms it's a bit of "glamping". It is very private location. The bathrooms were working great. Having to go outside of bedroom #2 across the patio and back into the living area to access the 2nd toilet is a little inconvenient but, we made it work. The showers were great. The small market is just a short walk from the house and was plenty adequate. It's a good idea to stop at the "Super U market" at the end of "Cook's Bay" on your way from the ferry terminal. The house is an older property but still functional and you can't beat the location or the price. The hosts were very helpful where to go and what to see. I would definitely visit again

The best feature of this property is the position right on the beachfront where you can swim and use the kayaks to venture for an adventure to see the reef sharks etc.The house itself was clean but it has quite old furniture throughout but the bedding was comfortable and the air con worked very well in the bedrooms. The rest of the house was very warm and hot when we were there and although we sat outside to cool down, once dusk came, the bugs come out to eat you.The kitchen is fully functional and the full size fridge is good. The bathroom is a good size and all very functional and it all works.Bang for your buck, not sure if it's really worth it as a couple but if you have 2 couples, it could be.Overall a four star experience for us.Would we come back, yes but we now know what to bring to make us more comfortable there (better sheets and towels and fly repellent spray).

This house was a dream. It had everything you needed, and nothing you didn’t. We enjoyed the kayaks, and the simplicity of the home, we felt very safe. We came and went like we owned the place. The restaurant two doors down was fantastic. Annaise met us on site during our early check-in and also came over the day of departure to make sure we had everything and booked our taxis for us. As well as giving us contact information to book our moped for our time on the island. This is not a luxury house. It is simple enjoy the cool air conditioning and the nights, and the views from the deck while getting out and experiencing the culture of the island.!

Let me start by stating the owner was awesome, responsive and incredibly helpful . This property is amazing. Please follow the safety protocols that the owners explain during the walk thru and also include in the house manual. During our stay we were burglarized on our second night while we were sleeping between 11 PM to 2 AM. I woke up to use the bathroom and noticed that the sliding door was left open and that my purse and backpack were left on the deck The thieves took $2,500 US dollars and other personal items. What is really disturbing is our son was asleep on the sofa bed which is a few feet from where I had left my purse and my husband's backpack. Also, very creepy is that they put a chair under the window so they could look inside the house. The police and owner were notified and immediately came to the house. We also filed a disposition at the police station. So, the lesson we learned is we made a mistake by NOT locking the sliding door. Although we were disheartened by this loss we did not allow this to ruin our vacation. The location of the house is breathtaking and we enjoyed watching the beautiful sunrises, sunsets and natural wildlife.
