About this apartment rental

Independent apartment of 30m², on the ground floor located in an authentic Savoyard chalet, in Bernex (15 minutes from Evian, 35 minutes from Chatel, 45 minutes from Morzine - Avoriaz - Les Gets)

Facing south, facing the mountains (Dent d'Oche, Pointe de Peluaz, Mont Baron)

In winter, access to the ski lifts and back to the chalet can be done by ski (if the snow conditions allow), otherwise by car in 3 minutes.

In summer, departures from the hiking trails can be done directly from the chalet.

Sleeps: 4 people (1 double bed in one bedroom, a convertible sofa in the living room)

We have stayed here on many times in recent years and never cease to enjoy it. Our hosts are lovely and we have become good friends over the years and we shall miss them as we may not be able to visit in future owing to our ages. The area is delightful and offers beautiful scenery, a variety of walks , choice of restaurants in summer and fun skiing in winter. Lake leman is very close .,

We had a very nice two-week stay in the summer. Besides what is shown in the pictures, we were glad to see there is a table and bench to sit in right outside the apartment with views of the Dent d'Oche and Mont Baron. Micheline and her husband were very friendly and made us feel welcome.

Ideally suited to two people, the fascilities are limited but adequate and the property is situated in a delightful position and the owners are a lovely couple who make their visitors most welcome. The surrounding area has many good restaurants and places of interest. We have enjoyed 3 visits to the property immensely.

Homely (good, warm and comfortable) and snug for solo traveller. I can't understand why towels are not available. Would benefit with a microwave. Wifi not available but not missed by active days. First two weeks in February was not great for skiing but with randonnee (GR 5 et al) walks at hand, the warmth and limited snow allowed visits to several via ferrata (not technically open). I liked the property and its aspect for catching the Sun is superb.

We have visited 2 Or 3 times and we know the area well. It is a delightful place with wonderful views in all directions. If you are reasonable mobile, there is much to do in a peaceful setting. Micheline and her husband are a delightful couple who make you most welcome without encroaching on your holiday. It would be helpful if any visitor could speak and understand some French as neither host speaks English. A lovely place to spend a summer or winter holiday. The local ski-ing whilst not too challenging is great fun.

We love the area both in summer and winter and the studio apartment is ideal ly located. The owners are a delightful couple who made us very welcome and we look forward to returning again next year for our third visit. For English visitors, some French would be helpful. The studio is very well appointed and for the Two of us, it is fine but four people would find it very cramped.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were made very welcome by the delightful owners who made sure that we had everything we needed without intruding on our enjoyment. The Studio is ideal for 2 adults but the kitchen facilities are a bit cramped. The chalet sits at the base of the surrounding mountains and is perfectly situated for exploring the local very pretty area and offers wonderful walking in the mountains in the summer and has ski-ing in the winter. The French owners have high standards and thisi is reflected in their home and studio. The ability of visitors to speak some French is an advantage as the owners do not speak English. We have no hesitation in recommending this property and we hope to have the pleasure of returning there again in the future.

We spent a great 10 days at Savoyard chalet with our 4 year old son.This is fantastic apartment with stunning views of the mountains. It has everything you need. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was fitted with all necessary appliances and supplies. Very friendly and helpful owners. The wonderful weather was an added bonus. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend to everyone!

L'appartement est idéalement situé, selon les conditions d’enneigement départ devant la maison des pistes de raquettes, de ski de randonné et de ski alpin. Bernex est un village bien charmant. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans ce petit appartement. La vue de la terrasse sur la dent d’Oche est tout simplement magnifique ! L’appartement est propre et très calme. La propriétaire est charmante, très souriante et arrangeante. Nos filles étaient ravies de pouvoir jouer dans l’immense jardin! De faire de la balançoire et surtout de pouvoir chercher de l’eau à la fontaine situé dans le jardin ! Je recommande cette location !

Séjour agréable au pied de la dent d'Oche. Le studio, propre, confortable, et bien équipé, est conforme aux photos dans une propriété bien entretenue et au calme. Hôtes gentils et discrets. Belle terrasse plein sud avec super vue sur les montagnes. Seul bémol : le wifi ne passe pas ou mal et Bernex (en juin 2020) a une connexion 2G assez lente. Néanmoins je recommande tout à fait cette location.

Deuxième séjour très agréable à Bernex. L’appartement est toujours très fonctionnel, et le calme du lieu très apaisant. Malgré le peu de neige cette année pour beaucoup d’endroits en montagne, nous avons pu profiter du ski et également de la région qui est magnifique. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour! Micheline et son mari sont des propriétaires adorables et nous les remercions pour leur accueil! Nous recommandons bien sûr à nouveau!

Un petit appartement au rez de jardin du chalet des propriétaires très sympathiques. Idéal pour une famille jusqu'à 4 personnes. Bernex est un très joli coin de nature, idéal pour la randonnée en montagne ou pour un petit détour jusqu'au Lac Léman tout proche.

Nous nous sommes régalés durant 10 jours dans cet appartement parfait pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants! Nous avons bcp apprécié l’acceuil chaleureux de Micheline et de son mari, et nous avons pu apprécier pleinement le domaine skiable de Bernex avec nos 2 filles! Nous recommandons cette adresse!
