About this apartment rental
A one bedroom one bathroom studio flat with doorstep skiing. The accomodation comprises a living and sleeping area (combined) for up to four people.
There is a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, sink, electric hob and all utensils and includes a fondue and raclette set.
The dining table seats four. The bathroom includes a bath, shower attachment, sink and toilet.
The flat has double glazed doors opening onto its own balcony with stunning views of the D'ent Doche mountain and the Bernex ski area. There is a sledge which children are welcome to use. There is storage space for clothes as well as additional storage under the beds. The flat includes access to its own ski locker and has its own allocated parking space.
There is a TV and DVD player. TV reception is limited so we recommend you bring a selection of DVDs for your holiday- or you can just admire the view from the balcony!
As well as doorstep skiing , the flat is a minutes walk from the French Ski School, ski hire shops, bars and restaurants. Bernex is particularly popular with families and offers a wealth of activities including alpine and cross country skiing and snowboarding, ice skating, 'snow-shoeing', hiking, dog sledging, climbing and paragliding.
In the summer the ski area transforms into a mountain bike park serviced by the chairlift. MTB hire is available one minute from the flat. Evian and lake Geneva are a short fifteen minute drive away and Geneva is about an hours drive.
With a car it is also only half an hour drive to Chatel where you can access the extensive ski areas of the 'Porte du Soleil' - Morzine and Avoriaz. White water rafting, swimming and fishing are also easy to access in the summer.
We do not provide bed linen, sheets duvets or towels / tea towels and we ask that you bring your own.
We also thank you in advance for cleaning the flat and removing rubbish to the nearby depository when you depart.

The apartment is located in a beautiful area, with mountains and the lake nearby. It’s walking distance to the ski slope (in winter) and mountainbike/hiking trails (in summer). We spent a week here during summer and had a nice time. As for the apartment: when we checked in the apartment was not cleaned, Nick however quickly resolved the problem by sending the concierge. Though we wouldn’t say it’s professionally cleaned as the prescription says, this was not the case as the apartment was cluttered, the cabinet was full of expired products and the shower curtain was dirty. For this price we would probably not stay here again. But all in all, we had a very nice week because of the beautiful location and Nick was very polite and helpful.
