Large house with pool, ideal family or friends

Belle maison au calme. Idéale pour 8 personnes. Bel espace intérieur et extérieur. Piscine au top. Prévoir voiture pour visiter les environs. L'île Madame à ne pas rater. Les propriétaires sont à l'écoute et très sympathiques.

My wife and I stayed at this property with our 2 young children for a week from 27 August to 3 September 2019. The owners Aurelien and Anne-Charlotte met us at the property and were very welcoming. Aurelien has almost perfect English and kindly showed us everything we needed to know about the property and also gave us advice on which beaches to visit together with details of nearby supermarkets, restaurants, boulangeries etc. They also left us a bottle of Pineau which was gratefully received. The property is located in a peaceful residential area but being just off the D14 has excellent links to Royan and the surrounding region. Beautiful beaches are within 10 minutes of the property by car. The only negative about the location is that there isn't really anything within walking distance such as restaurants so everything requires a short drive. The property itself was immaculate and modern and had everything that we needed for our stay. Although there were only 4 of us the property could comfortably accommodate up to 8 people and with segregated sleeping areas would lend itself well to two families sharing. The property has a good-sized front garden with swings and a secluded and enclosed rear garden with an excellent swimming pool, built-in BBQ and nice seating areas. We had a lovely stay and I would have no hesitation in recommending this property. Chris

We have just spent a week in this fantastic home. There is everything you could need and Anne-Charlotte was lovely to deal with. The house is private and secluded. Our children loved running round in the garden or splashing in the pool whilst we enjoyed a coffee from the N'espresso machine or a glass of Pineau (a bottle of which kindly awaited our arrival) on the deck. In terms of location, it was perfect for us - only a few minutes from beautiful Mornac, supermarkets just over 5 mins drive away in Arvert and less than 20 mins to our favourite Atlantic beaches. Couldn't recommend more highly - thanks Anne-Charlotte and your family for a great holiday.

Maison super équipée, tout y est. Jardin bien clôturé, au calme. Piscine très agréable avec un petit rebord permettant de faire le tour. Intérieur: beaucoup de vaisselle, de chaises. Douche très agréable avec un très bon jet. Seul petit bémol: le plafond de l'étage est très bas, dur dur pour le dos. En résumé, location à recommander chaudement avec en prime une région fort belle et variée à découvrir
