Between Camargue and Alpilles, 10 minutes from downtown Arles, a small haven of peace in a residential, quiet and friendly area in the countryside. The cottage with its private terrace with spa is surrounded by an authentic garden surrounded by fig and olive trees.
The house is modern, practical and comfortable: fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, ceramic hob, coffee maker, toaster, washing machine); bathroom wc with walk-in shower.
Ideal for 2 people. Large bed (160 * 200) upstairs in a mezzanine above the living room and possibility of accommodation for an additional person in a quality convertible in the living room. Living room equipped with a flat screen with TNT channels, internet connection possible.

It was a wonderful stay. The apartement was very nicely and practically furnished, the location was quiet and perfect for excursions in all directions. The hosts were always approachable, very helpful and had great tips and background information about the region. Definitely recommendable!

The accommodation was lovely and very well equipped. There was also a beautiful garden to be enjoyed and the hot tub was a real bonus. Jacqui, the owner was lovely - a perfect host. He provided us with much helpful information on the local area; his list of places to see and local restaurants to visit was tremendous. Our one week stay was not enough!

The house is lovely and very well-equipped. The hosts have lived next door for much of their lives; they are helpful and very pleasant people. Form the house it is very easy to reach many likely target destinations: the historic centres of Arles, Nimes, Pont du Gard and Avignon; the Camargue, the Luberon, and, slightly further afield, Aix-en-Provence. The weather is more or less guaranteed to be very warm and sunny; in fact it may be a bit too warm in the very height of summer. We thoroughly recommend these two Gites and notice that many people pay return visits.

This gite is 5 minutes outside of Arles and provides a lovely, quiet experience. Jean Jaques and Nicole are excellent hosts and very gracious and generous with their time and suggestions. The only thing that was not perfect was the Internet connection. However, our hosts invited us to come to their house and garden whenever we needed to connect. For guests who are older, the bedroom upstairs may be challenging. We loved our stay here!

A happy visit to beautiful Provence

I rented the studio apartment for a week in March 2016. I loved staying there and would happily stay there again. The property is clean, comfortable and quiet. And the location is very convenient to Arles so you can easily enjoy the best of both worlds according to your mood. The kitchen had everything I needed to fix my meals, as well as coffee, dish detergent, paper towels and other items I usually need to buy before I can settle in at a holiday rental. I was very comfortable very quickly! My first visit to Arles in 2005 was too brief, so I was happy to wander the streets and take in the sights at a comfortable pace. And the surrounding countryside (Les Baux, Les Alpilles, La Camargue, Le Pont du Gard...) offers innumerable vistas and historical connections that continually remind you that you're in France. What made this visit to Arles even more special, though, was the owner's parents. They live next door, yet a tall hedge ensures your privacy. And while they keep their distance, they're always ready to help if you have a question or problem. Besides showering me with a bagful of treats on my arrival, they provided a detailed list of recommended attractions and restaurants. In my experience, recommending restaurants is a tricky business, but I enjoyed every restaurant Jean Jacques suggested. Beyond that, he's simply what we Americans would call a "great guy" -- knowledgeable, helpful, generous, warm, funny and simply a pleasure to be around. He knows a little about wine, too! Directions to the property were very clear. Access is easy. There is ample parking behind a locked gate. There are still many places near Arles that I want to see. I will have to come back!

Die Ferienwohnung im Landhaus ist super gemütlich und sehr sauber. Wir wurden mit einem Gastgeschenk herzlich empfangen. Die Familie spricht sehr gut Englisch, so dass die Kommunikation sehr gut funktionierte. Auch Insider Tipps für die Umgebung lagen bereit. Der Garten mit den Oliven- und Feigenbäumen und der Whirlpool sorgten für Entspannung. Die Ferienwohnung liegt nur 10min mit dem Auto von Arles Innenstadt entfernt, auch mit dem Fahrrad gelangt man schnell dort hin. Ein Bäcker mit frischem Baguette und Pain au Chocolats ;-) ist gleich in der Nähe. Die Camargue mit den Flamingos, Stieren und Pferden liegt nur 30min mit dem Auto entfernt. Das Meer lädt mit seinem feinen Sandstrand auch zum Baden und Verweilen ein. Die Berge (Luberon) und die Lavendelfelder sind mit dem Auto ebenfalls relativ schnell (<1h) zu erreichen. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit gern wieder Urlaub in der Region und in diesem Ferienhaus machen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft. Very nice Appartment in Arles

We stayed a week in this very nice appartment located in a small house in a large, beautiful and calm garden. The flat was very clean, the equipment was new and included a lot of things we did not expect, such as a washing machine and dishwasher (+ detergent). We were well taken care of by the nice neighbors and their cat who run the flat. The apartment is located in a rural residential area a 10 min. drive outside Arles. A car is needed. Questions prior to out trip were anwered immediately. We hope to come back again soon.

This is a wonderful, quiet place ideal to explore the region or simply relax. The location is quiet, the garden and spa ideal to enjoy yourself. The apartment is very clean, cosy and very well equipped. Most importantly, the owner's parents live next door and are the perfect hosts full of tips what to do, where to go or at hand with any questions. You not often rent an apartment that comes with a lovely welcome present full of delicious regional products! We had a perfect wonderful week and would come back at any time. Thanks for the great hospitality!

Le séjour fut très agréable. Le gîte pour 4 personnes est spacieux avec un très bon équipement, dans un endroit calme à la périphérie de Arles. Un immense jardin ombragé vous invite à la détente. Le bain à remous (spa) est un autre point fort. A noter particulièrement la gentillesse, la serviabilité et la convivialité de Mme et Mr Mangold, qui veillent au bien-être des hôtes sans être envahissants. Ils vivent sur la propriété voisine séparée par une haie. Un grand merci encore pour leur accueil chaleureux lors de notre arrivée. La liste des sites à découvrir, établie par Mr Mangold, allant des Arpilles jusqu’au Grau du Roi en passant par Nîmes, et Saintes Maries de la Mer, ainsi que la liste des restaurants correspondants sont d’une grande aide et ne peuvent pas passées sous silence. Nous reviendrons !

En dépit de.la.pandémie limitant les visites, choisir l'un des gîtes du Petit Mandon était le meilleur choix que nous puissions faire pour nous reposer et nous ressourcer. Proche de tout (Arles, Camargue, Alpilles, commerces) et suffisamment éloigné de l'agitation, nous recommandons chaudement le havre de paix de M. et Mme Mangold.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit guter Ausstattung. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung vom Wohnraum über das Bad bis zur Empore mit dem großen Bett mit sehr guter Matratze. Auf den 2 Terrassen und in dem großzügigen Garten mit Oleandersträuchern findet sich jederzeit ein schattiges oder sonniges Plätzchen zum relaxen. Guter Ausgangsort für Ausflüge in die Camargue und die Provence. Wir hatten unsere Fahrräder dabei und haben durch die vielen Tipps und Anregungen des netten Vermieters Jacques sehr viel gesehen. Alles ohne Einschränkung empfehlenswert.

Wunderschön gelegenes Appartement! Bestens ausgestattet mit allem, was es für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Man frühstückt unter Olivenbäumen und Oleanderbüschen. Das Stadtzentrum von Arles ist in 15 Minuten mit kostenfrei zur Verfügung stehenden Rädern erreichbar. Vielfältigste Aktivitäten von Rennradfahren, Wandern, Stadt- und/oder Museumsbesichtugungen (carrières-lumières bei Les Beaux de Provence ist für Kunstaffine ein Muss) sind alle unkompliziert realisierbar. Vermieter waren mehr Gastgeber als Geschäftspartner: sehr herzlich, sehr offen erkundigten sie sich täglich nach Wünschen, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Ohne die wertvollen Insidertipps von Jacques und Nicole hätten wir die schönsten Erlebnisse verpasst. Zu 110% zu empfehlen!!!

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans le gîte des Oliviers. Monsieur Mangold est très présent et très attentionné. Nous avons apprécié le soleil bien sûr mais aussi le calme, le jardin et ses oliviers, le spa et la proximité du centre ville d'Arles , une ville très agréable.

Unser Urlaub im gîtes des oliviers war wunderbar.Das kleine Haus hat alles was man benötigt. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich von Jacky und Nicole empfangen. Jacky hatte eine Liste aller interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung zusammen gestellt,inklusive der besten Restaurants der Gegend. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Christina und Christoph Notre séjour au gîte des oliviers était formidable.La maison a tout ce dont on a besoin . A notre arrivée,nous avons été très amicalement reçu par Nicole et Jacky.Jacky nous a donné une liste avec toutes les choses intéressant es à voir ainsi que les bons restaurants,c‘était super! Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous dans ce gîte. Christina et Christoph

Der Urlaub bei Ihnen war sehr schön. Das Qurtier und die Umgebung gefielen uns sehr. Auch dass sich Herr Mangold sehr viel Mühe gegeben hat, sich um zu kümmern. Leider war das TV nur auf französisch und eine Internetverbindung kam sehr selten und dann auch nur sehr schlecht zu stande. Deshalb nur drei von fünf Sternen.

Saubere, gepflegte Unterkunft, alles notwendige vorhanden, Herr Mangold gab uns viele wertvolle Tipps, sehr nett, aufgeschlossen und hilfsbereit. Haus mit Klimaanlage, im Umkreis von 50 km (und näher!) sehr viele sehenswerte Bauwerke, Kultur und Landschaft, Auto ist auf jeden Fall vorteilhaft
